Yes Dwight and Johnny are great guys and great channels. Dwight got me to 103 subs, that helped me, so why not give a shoutout? And the helix? What can I say about that? Other then one short coming (being made of press wood), it’s straight forward and easy to put together. It is made for Kato double unitrack. I’m trying to work on getting it connected, I’m thinking I’m gonna have to do some more DYI work to some track. Don’t worry, I’ve cut on Kato unitrack before, came out great. It went together fast and well. It’s more stable than it looks. I’m going to use flex track to connect it to my layout. Thanks for the kind words for the rest of the layout. I’ve been working really hard on it. I had a month off from work, being bored, I had to do something to keep busy. I’m taking a break from the layout as I’m financially tight at the moment. That’s suck a neat looking helix. When I did N scale I really liked using the super elevated curve track. Your trains will fly around that. Thanks for sharing

congrats on 100 Eric! hey if you need to you can build "bridges" of track using atlas flex track. I use atlas flex for my entire layout but i was able to integrate a kato double crossover- only the elevation had to be adjusted- the kato roadbed was higher than the roadbed i was using. other than that, you can totally use atlas flex to span spaces where the kato doesn't line up. ps- i would recommend code 80 on the atlas flex track.

proses.com/shop/14-helix-systems This is where I got the helix. This one is made for Kato double unitrack, but they have others, plus I don’t see why you couldn’t use other track on this one.
