just so you know ando, that was a Gundam Figure. specifically Shining Gundam. also you see it so much because just like pokemon, Gundam originated and is extremely popular in japan, there are stores and even a life size statue of gundam in tokyo. i know because i love gundam just as much as pokemon lol. i recommend you watching it great anime. and start with G Gundam because its the original that started it all.
