The one thing that a lot of y’all are missing out on is that the reason the oline wasn’t fully addressed is because a lot of people blamed fields holding the ball too long as the reason. Even though he held the too long at times, he was running for his life behind the line and now Caleb is suffering because of that miscalculation. Also letting Keenan Allen, Caleb’s security blanket walk, just walk is crazy work. Y’all think Caleb had bad moments now, let Allen walk 🤣.

If they don't fix that o-line and let him walk then yea it will be a SHIT SHOW next season too

So much to say... First, the Offensive line has been an issue for years now and while Poles has put some effort into improving it, what he has tried has for the most part been subpar at best. Nate Davis, Shelton, Bates, etc... think what you want, they clearly did not fill the need. The issues we've had on the field were predictable, as NO part of the offense can succeed with any consistency if your offensive line performs that terribly. Whether you want to blame the talent, the coaches or whomever, the end game of responsibility is Ryan Poles. Now, I'm not hanging Poles out to dry, I think he's done more good than bad, but his seat is probably hot and it oughtta be. When it comes to Caleb, I think the season he's had is pretty remarkable considering the circumstances. Those circumstances have led to some erratic play in his game and that's not going to disappear if the Bears don't make some major improvement on that O Line. I don't think Caleb has been ruined, but I could see where the Bears could, sadly. What is frustrating is the team has legit talent and the main issue is with the trenches on both sides of the ball and that's exactly where good team builders start. I didn't see the Bears making the playoffs this year, or competing for the division in any serious sense but we've actually become witness to a full melt down and so have the players and if they don't get the next coach right, it's' not going to be pretty for the next few years.

Bobby great insight! I think we can keep Keenan, but I’ll have to agree with u with the addition by subtraction cause we need to fill these trenches on both sides

Aye Bobby, it's Se7eN. And yeah the Bears lacks leadership and if that's the case, they shouldn't have captains. That's the role of a captain! And on top of that, these dudes would rather squeal to the media than take accountability and keep shit in the locker room. That's a huge red flag about the type of team this is.

If we haven't ruined him yet we are well on our way. We need a HC soon to save him and our team. I'm okay if Santos can't kick a 57 yarder. If we can't get closer to the end zone than 57 yards out we don't deserve the points. I'd rather have accuracy for the long haul. Nick I was born into this fan base as well so you have a friend who feels your lifelong pain. Great show Bobby, well done, well said.

we won't know until later down the road. ruined just means picking up bad habits and not being able to grow and improve from it. i don't think he is ruined but they have to get the next coach right. if they botch the next hire i don't think he can overcome it. it's just too much dysfunction at that point.

All great points Bobby I don't believe that Caleb Williams is ruined imo he's built different with the amounts of hits he taken through the season he's bounced right back up from it you have good building blocks already in place but the foundation is cracked you must upgrade both of the trenches another edge opposite Montez and remake the oline put all the resources into both sides of the trenches if you even dare to address anything else besides either position Ryan Poles gotta go make the logical decision big dawg enough of garbage ass lineman offensively & defensively

The same flaws CW showed at USC is still there with the Bears. He held the ball to long, he couldn't read defense's. He played to much hero ball and was and doesn't pull the trigger unless the WR is wide open.

Caleb is the real deal . It’s amazing he’s done as well as possible with the musical chairs occurring in coaching and the shitty OL. He does make mistakes but give the man a real coach.

Poles only spending 26$ million on the oline is the problem and also not signing a dependable rb

It's not Poles not paying the players it is the McCaskey's, don't get me wrong Poles has a lot of things he needs to get right this draft and free agency so we'll see how hot that seat in the GM's office gets.

you do know offense line is ranked 14th by PFF, he gets the more time than Joey B, but he has 30 more sacks 😂😂 keep blaming the line when the problem comes from the QB holding the ball, when throwing the ball 10 yards more he ranked at the bottom of the league.
@i.n.s.t.r.o_music
@i.n.s.t.r.o_music Ай бұрын
@ if your o line is consistently hurt this statistic is useless… from the eye test the bears o line gets pushed around before they do any pushing
@DaDon000
@DaDon000 Ай бұрын
stop lying PFF doesn’t have the Bears at the bottom of the league. Most of the metrics suggest that the pass blocking isn’t that bad. Chicago’s 34.1% pressure rate ranks 13th despite Williams holding onto the ball for so long. They also rank 15th in PBWR, which is more than respectable. Similarly, the run-blocking numbers are fairly solid (0.92 RBYBC/rush; 14th), so it’s unfair to lay the complete failure of this season on the offensive line.

This whole organization is a cancer until you get to the root. It's just going to be the same mediocre team year after year. Much as I want them to sell this team which we know is not going to happen. Something is got change soon 🐻🗑️

How so? I'm a Fields fan. But I can't say that he did enough to get another contract. For as many spectacular plays that Fields made, he had just as many plays that gave the game away. Whether through 20 yard sack/fumbles or picks

EVERYONE WANTING BEN JOHNSON IS DUMB. IF YOU WANT TO WIN NOW, THEN STOP SHOOTING CRAPS. YOU DONT KNOW THAT BEN JOHNSON CAN LEAD AN ENTIRE FOOTBALL TEAM. GET A ESTABLISHED HEAD COACH. IVE HEARD PETE CARROLLS NAME MENTIONED. EVERYONE WANTS TO REMEMBER HIM FOR THAT ONE HUGE MISTAKE. IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. DO YOU THINK HE LEARNED FROM THAT MISTAKE? IM GONNA BET THAT HE DID. AND EVERYONE LETS THAT ONE MOMENT OVERSHADOW JUST WHAT PETE CARROLL BUILT IN SEATTLE. AND I DO MEAN BUILT. PETE CARROLL DEVELOPED THAT ENTIRE ROSTER. IF PETE CARROLL WON IN THE NFL WITH RUSSEL WILSON, WHAT ON EARTH COULD HE DO WITH A TALENT LIKE WILLIAMS. CARROLL IS AN OVERALL FOOTBALL MIND. IF THE TIME IS NOW, THEN THE ANSWER IS CARROLL. UNLESS YOU GUYS WOULD RATHER JUST STAY SHOOTING CRAPS. ROLLING THEM WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED AND HOPING FOR THE BEST. THE BEARS ALREADY HAVE SIMILAR PLAYERS AS THE SEAHAWKS WITH JAYLON BEING OUR SHERMAN, BRISKER POSSIBLY BEING ABLE TO DEVELOP INTO EARL THOMAS. EDWARDS BEING OUR WAGNER. AND DEXTER POSSIBLY BEING ABLE TO BE DEVELOPED INTO OUR BENNET. THE SEAHAWKS WERE MANUFACERING SACKS BECAUSE PETE CARROLL HAD THOSE PLAYERS BELIEVING THEY WERE BETTER THAN THEY REALLY WERE. THOSE PLAYERS WOULD HAVE RAN THROUGH A BRICK WALL FOR PETE CARROLL. THATS THE TYPE OF COACH THIS FRANCHISE NEEDS. NOT A CRAPSHOOT. YOUR BEGGING FOR MORE OF THE SAME. NOBODY KNOWS WHAT BEN JOHNSONS GONNA BE. NOBODY DOES. EVERYONE CAN HAVE AN OPINION ON WHAT THEY THINK SOMEBODYS GONNA BE, BUT IF THE TIME IS NOW, THEN THE ANSWER IS PETE CARROLL

@@michaela.kelley7823yes they were all wrong it’s not the first time and won’t be the last idk how they constantly do this but you must of just started following football it’s at least like 10 high drafted. Qbs that majority of people thought were can’t miss that didn’t pan out a few to name just recent drafts Zach Wilson Bryce young josh Rosen Mariota manziel Lawrence not to mention the QBs they said were bad or projects being stars like Lamar and Josh Allen even goff so yes it’s multiple occasions where the masses have been dead wrong

My choices for HEAD COACH are #1 Pete Carrol ,#2 Pete Carrol and #3 Pete Carroll. This dude is overshadowed by 1 bad call in his career that EVERYONE KNOWS HE HAS LEARNED FROM AS IT WAS THE MOST HEART WRENCHING MOMEMT OF HIS LIFE. EVERYONE FORGETS THAT HE BUILT THAT SEAHAWKS TEAM FROM THE GROUND UP. HE DEVELOPED ALL THOSE PLAYERS. SND WE ALREADY HAVE SIMILAR PIECES OR PIECES THAT CAN BE DEVELOPED INTO THOSE PIECES. PETE HAD THAT TEAM READY TO TEAR DOWN A BRICK WALL FOR HIM. HE GOT MORE WITH LESS AS FAR AS SACKS WITH OUTSIDE OF BENNET, THERE WAS NO NAMES ON THAT D-Line. Edwards is our Wagner. Just look at the last couple of years total stats. Brisker could be devleooed into our Earl Thomas. Dexter could be developed into our Bennet. Pete Carroll knows how to establish culture. Does Ben? Dont know? Pete was smart enouth to play Wilson over the high priced Flynn that was just signed at the time. He didnt care. He started the player that gave the team the better chance to win. Thats commendable. And that sends a message to the players. Pete Carroll built something special in seattle that noe goes overlooked. He deserves another chamce. AND HES INTERESTED IN DOING IT. By the way. I am not Peter Carroll. Lol. Just a fan who spits facts. Ben Johnson is another chance to roll the dice. Pete Carroll is an established HEAD COACH WITH CRAZY CREDENTIALS AND ya'll are like " give me them dice" ya'll crazy. I think you guys have begun to like the madness

@djpharo7 ty for telling us you don't know ball that 72 yr old man has WON more than anybody else POSSIBLY being considered we need an experienced coach will lead this team as far as Caleb is concerned I have no doubt he can hire a COMPETENT qb coach & OC to develop this kid I have nothing against Johnson or Brady but we have done the HOT NEW NAME and how did that work?! Plus can they LEAD A TEAM and not just a Quarterback cause at the end of the day you gotta stop the other team too
