Which of the young guys are you going to DFA or trade away during the offseason, if you're the front office? Remember they're going to have to DFA several players, due to a cramped 40-man roster. Two DFA's will have to happen the day after the World Series when the 60-day IL is unavailable during the offseason and Romano and Manoah need to be put somewhere. Prospects like Tiedeman will also need to be protected from the Rule 5 Draft in December by joining the 40-man. More room will be needed when signing free agents. This is going to be an odd offseason, after the Jays traded away would-be free agents that would normally make room at the end of the season by walking.

So my brain is still Stuck. But. We need 3B, LF (Both bangers). So thats an easy 28-30 mill. Maybe we need a starter (to be safe); thats an easy 12-14. So just not sure how we restock the bullpen on top of that. Even if we have 50-55 million. I just dont see enough funds and trade chips to get us where a point where we got all the work done. Im just not sold we are competing in 2025. Now obviously if we cant get a pitcher and extras for say a Bo Bichette. Maybe that gives us the chance to make the 50-55 get us there. But even then now we are starting who at SS daily. Thats gonna be a net loss for offense absolutely. Gonna be such an interesting offseason. Great episode.

Can understand the frustration with other Jays podcasts and the click bait. For me it's annoying af and I don't click anymore. They basically just repeat every single rumor and published article by the real media ppl and try and sell it with click bait titles. Sadly it seems to work with the numbers for them

I wish the clickbaiters could form opinions and ideas on their own - they could easily become the people who start the rumors/discussions, instead of the regurgitators.

I feel like Jays Digest is like that and not as well. They will comment on most news articles that come out from the major sports analyst, but they will give an in depth opinion for their part. There are a lot of podcasts that just say water is wet and it becomes annoying

@@letsgetentertainment I don't recall ever hearing much of an opinion from those guys, perhaps I never watched enough. Just felt like all the effort went into the thumbnails and the vids were just a few sentences read verbatim from Twitter. Never seen any "huge, massive, game changing" reports. Anyhow guess their channel is bringing in views so somebody likes their content. It's just baffling to me that the walk off isn't killing it with views too

Agree with Scott on Romano. I would like to see him moved or reallocated to a set up guy. He won't be moved until he can show he can still pitch reliably.

Move Rodrigues to the bullpen and sign Gerrit Cole as he will opt out of his Yankee contract.
