I speak from personal family experience here in the USA. ANY abdominal surgery that requires incisions through abdominal wall is serious. Time to recover is important, as there are possible complications from such a surgery that can debilitate a person even further and delay a return to "normal" even longer. Kate's medical advisors certainly gave her the best possible advice, for herself, her family and the people of the UK.

I had a Caesarian and was able to look after twins within two weeks. She is probably more than able to put a dress and some makeup and take a nice photo so a video. I don’t believe any of this for one minute. Something much more is going on that a simple (privately paid for high end all the trimmings) surgery because it’s common sense which Brits seem to lack a bit to often (eg brexit)

There’s not giving details and then there’s unusual silence towards a senior member of the royal family where there would usually be public statements wishing good health and a speedy recovery. The complete silence and seemingly disappearance of her kids and parents is very strange. A rumoured DSMA notice is also huge alarm bells if true, William using his own crest in a letter head as opposed to the Wales’ crest. Somethings up I hope they’re ok

He’s missed several. It’s his job to be at various functions and he canceled many due to his wife’s health. How many people are allowed to do that in their work? With regards to this event, it was his godfather’s memorial service. They didn’t go to the funeral and now he didn’t go to this memorial service. I’m tired of hearing how he ‘deserves’ his privacy. How much privacy and family time do we get in our jobs if we miss functions? Maybe Harry was right and William is trapped in the job and doesn’t want to do it.

The beautiful Princess of Wales knows and adheres to Royal protocol, therefore the health of the King comes first. The Palace is obviously following this protocol. I believe if the health crises of King Charles and the Princess of Wales hadn’t occurred at the same time (with the official announcements from the Palace on the same day), there would be more news and updates from the Palace regarding her progress. Even though we love and adore the Princess of Wales the emphasis must be on the King and I’m sure that’s exactly how she wants it. May they both recover successfully. Many Blessings to all 💜

But they did not want to follow the royal rules: you have to do the work of working royals to receive the benefits and you cannot profiteer off your privilege as it is a conflict of interest to commercialize your titles and you cannot be king and queen just because your inflated egos are delusional about how good you would be at it. So they left. I totally supported their decision to leave if royal life was not right for them. Most people like me believed they couldn't deal with the paparazzi, tabloids and lack of privacy. We initially welcomed them to Canada then to America. But then they turned nasty, scurrilous lies were debunked, hypocrisy was flying as high as the most overpowered private jet, they grifted and freeloaded off anything that moved, etc--and they were vicious towards their own families, even when they were terminally and critically ill, even when they were grieving and dying. They went from the most popular royals in Britain to cratering at dead last even in America, even below disgraced Prince Andrew. This fall in public opinion occurred AFTER Oprah/Netflix/Spare and all the crap they have pulled since. Meanwhile, the Royal Family has remained silent. So Harry and Meghan did this to themselves. They were the ones attacking their family with vicious lies and vindictive slander while acting like entitled grifters in Canada and America. That's when most of us started calling them out. A few people take it too far, but most of us are just denouncing them as liars, slanderers, grifters, hypocrites, and have every reason to do so. And every right: they are treacherously attacking the Royal Family of 56 Commonwealth countries plus the Head of State of 16 Commonwealth Realms. And Americans have every right too because they are the ones now saddled with the grifters who feel entitled to act like the king and queen of a Republic who fought a War of Independence to not have monarchs, especially foreign ones. And the only monarchical behaviour they are good at is as Drama Queens.

I think she should be referred to as Catherine princess of wales or princess Catherine, she should be given respect that her position deserves. She IS the future queen. I’m American and I always refer to her as princess Catherine. Yet people constantly call Meghan duchess of Sussex and that just makes me gag. And I also will NEVER refer to those two kids as prince and princess either. That also makes me want to 🤢🤮. Harry is a traitor to his family, king and country and I hope the titles will be removed from the lot of them.

Princess Diana was called "Lady Di" by the press for YEARS after she married Charles. I think they're worried - needlessly so - that some people won't know who they're talking about if they say Catherine 🙄 More and more times is passing now (since the wedding) and if they don't change soon, they never will!
