The Tatler painting is horrible like a child painted it. When I first saw it I thought it was a joke. Like it or not, although King Charles' latest portrait was controversial in that it was provocative with its use of the color red - nobody can fault the artist for his skill. The face and craftsmanship of it was impeccable. This painting of Catherine is primitive, like something you'd expect from a high school art class. The face has no resemblance to the Princess of Wales and isn't even rendered well, the body is misshapen and out of proportion and even the blue sash is childish looking.
