I am planning to create video series about Missed Content from Mushoku Tensei Web Novels. I will cover each following episode of Mushoku Tensei and explain quite a lot. I will also create videos like this one about Isekai Protagonists in general.

@@AnimeStatsSama tha sounds fantastic since the Episode 0 of the new season of Mushoku Tensei skipped quite a bit. As for new videos of Isekai protagonists there are so many things to cover and some are subjective. Minor spoilers For example waifus. Cid/Shadow has hundreds in Shadow Garden (Rose is the 666th member) but even the named ones are dozen. But then again Rudeus ends up with only three wives or rather 2 wives and a redhead husband. But while he lacks Shadow's numbers he has a lot more s*x than most Isekai protagonists. Other topic could be equipment. Naofumi's shields, Rudeus staff, robes (he has 3 that matters, one brought in the Demon Continent with Eris, another in Sharia with Silphy and anther that Orsted gave him) and his armors also Shadow's slime/venom suit.

I would say Cids greatest challenge is not hiding his greatness it is to roleplay in general. When he is shadow he is trying to roleplay a powerful, mysterious and intelligent leader and when he is Cid he is trying to be a normal generic background character.

I think his biggest challenge is breaking himself out of his day dream, in a reality his day dream is actually real, he is oblivious to the fact and only in the few moments does the day dream and reality combine in his brain long enough for him to actual be Shadow... then gets bored the second its resolved and falls back into the day dream. He doesn't notice the similarity between him and the Witch, to trap her in a illusion of layers, the same way he has trapped himself.

This anime is really relatable although the pace was slow at first. It is really weird, although there are nothing special about them, and their talents are average, I really enjoy their (slow) development.

@@ispeakfacts8842 sound realistic to me, i meant you expect goblin to be equal as a stupid kid who eat it own shit when they are more like middle schooler with knife and live a savage lifestyle for more than half of your childhood (we are greener than them in this aspect). Mean while the main group is not mentally and physically prepare to kill at all, they not even workout, gymnastic or kendo trainer at all, just a few nerd and jock. On top of living a lifestyle like unemployed homeless people, bad food, trash equipment, and have no ideal of how the world work... -> the slow pace is understandable. Honestly, those who get the grasp of it at first, already follow the top guy at the beginning, the mc party is just what left behind, those who don't know how to deal with a hostile world, or having too many doubt in themselves to deal with

@@ispeakfacts8842 That's one of the things that makes this anime special. Every other show would have the protag vaporize low-level enemies. Grimgar is much more realistic about this aspect. You can't expect modern people who've never had to even harm a living being before to suddenly be able to kill human-like creatures even if their lives are at stake. It takes time to internalize this idea and come to terms with it and Grimgar does this wonderfully. Still, it's not for everyone and certainly doesn't have mass-appeal seeing how it's not that popular, sadly.

The difference seems to be that with a VR setting, their real body is still on Earth, while in other isekai they're physically sent to another world. It may be better to say they're two different styles of isekai. But at the basic definition of isekai (another world), they are all still isekai.

@@LoliLover36669 for the sake of argument, just look up about SAO in MAL, you could see that SAO has a genre of adventure, action, romance, and fantasy, while it's theme is Love Polygon and video game, no isekai mentioned. While if you look up anime like overlord and Tate no Yuusha, you'll see they have isekai as their theme.
