P8 replaced the P1 in Bundeswehr service. In the numbers police guns are also included. And also guns that were tested but never adopted. -P1: Walther P38 with aluminium alloy frame, use in Bundeswehr and some German state polices and the Bundesgrenzschutz (paramilitary) -P2: SIG P210-4, Bundesgrenzschutz -P3: Astra 600/43, Bundesgrenzschutz -P4: P1 with 15mm shorter barrel, steel insert in frame, shorter spur on the cock, better sights, decocker only instead of safety. @ It’s not an obvious choice. It’s a very strange, very niche cartridge, it’s twice as expensive as 9mm while not having equivalent stopping power. The only thing it has going for it is, that it has arguably better armor-piercing properties. But the cartridge is long, which makes the magazine chunky, and therefore the grip as well. The fact, that it’s produced there doesn’t make it necessarily a good idea. If it was so great, other countries would have adopted it as well.

In Ukraine is much common the "Fort" pistol rather than PM nowadays

Judging by the comments your info is way off and thus your video is not accurate. Also in Finland we use Glock 17 and Walther P99, the FN HP-DA is training pistol. Glock is also main pistol for police forces here.

as a gun nut i can say quite a lot of these are wrong. edit: literally some of the weapons showed are not in active duty since 5 years._.

Unfortunately that is wrong. For example, in Germany the HK P8, a version of the USP for military, is used

Switzerland is false, main pistol in the army is still the SIG p220, the p320 just won a few contracts in police departments but is nowhere in the swiss millitary.
