It's been 24 years since the farewell season. Glad to see this in youtube once again. I still remember that young me was holding a light saber toy while watching this parade. Since it was a very last day of the season, my parents bought this VHS to remember this day. When they brought this back for limited time in 2017, I went there with my mother and my brother to see that. Since it was very long ago that I go to Disneyland, It became a special time to me. Cause surprisingly, that day was the last day of the Star War's 40th anniversary celebration. (Also bought a custom Kylo Ren's Lightsaber that day. Quite acoincidence We even watched the renewal version of fantasmic before the parade. It was very fantastic. And during the parade, I was happy to see this after 21 years later :) Not sure if I'll get a chance to see this again, but hope this goes on until I get old. Until then.. I'm sure that I'll watch this video over and over again..

I love the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs float it's cute and beautiful. My brother loves Elliott the Dragon float a lot and everyone else is cheering for that part. The America Float was really beautiful 😍.

Parade came back 2 years ago to Disneyland and sadly I fined myself disappointed. Pinocchio was minimized and they completely took out Dumbo from the line-up. Paint The Night is forever my favorite parade.

I remember watching this parade in 1995 and my parents recorded it using a jvc camcorder. It used to be my favorite and watched it a lot. Now it’s lost somewhere but I have hope to find it ^_^

in case anyone isw curious as to what music was used during the closing credits the first part is the music for the Swan floats from Tokyo Disneyland and the second is music from the Return To Oz sectiion whch was probably the section w/ the shortest time ion the parade (only a few months)

both units are still in the Parade (after the parade went to NY for the Hercules premiere, the two Pleasure Island floats and the Dwarf Mine were used in the parade in Paris. wen it ended in 2003 all 3 floats were returned to Disneyland and were used inh the parade starting in 2009 (why they waited 6 years to bring them back i have no idea) the only Pinnochio related floast that are no longer in the parade are "Pinnocchio Unterwater" (retired in '83 (and the Blue Fairy (retired in '09)

As much as I love the original Main Street Electrical Parade, the new Paint the Night Electrical Parade at Disneyland really does stand up to Disney's tradition of nighttime parades :)

+jeffacosta123 I agree, I just wish PTN had been around 19 years ago,a;thpiugh I wonder if fates of the parade's replacement would have gone different if Disneyland had gotten "Fantilusion" and Tokyo had gotten "Light Magic"

yep although from what I've heard they'll be calling it "Disney's Electrical Parade" (the probable reason is so guests won't say "didn't you say 20 years ago this parade was glowing away?"

Fun fact: The musical number used during the "Pinocchio's Pleasure Island" part of the parade hasn't been trashed yet! The unit is no longer in the parade, but the music can be heard when you ride King Arthur's Merry-Go-Round in FantasyLand in the Disneyland Resort in California! (I can't spell Carosel, so i called it a Merry-Go-Round)

I literally DESTROYED this tape from watching it ad nauseum. It was a staple in my household. I had the chance of seeing it at California Adventure sometime in the mid 2000s. I just returned home from a day at the park and saw my parade once again. I'm turning nineteen in a few weeks, but I bawled like a baby when I saw the snail and the bee come crawling down Main Street. I felt just like a little boy. It's just a parade! Yet it means so, so much.

@hemanshera777 he was in the succesor to this parade in Florida (SpectroMagic) from 1991-1999. when SpectroMagic came back in 2001 (after a 2 year run of MSEP w/ most the very floats you see here, Roger was rewplaced by the Genie from Aladdin
