fault re6 for its gameplay and story all you like, but you can’t deny the INSANE production value put into it. Unique themes for every stage, movie-level cutscene quality, and consistently good voice acting across the board. Not to mention one of my favourite designs for Ada Wong ever (both actual Ada and Carla). RE6 has a soft spot in my heart as something like the Tommy Wiseau’s “The Room” of video games.

I dunno if it's because I came into the game with zero expectations other than to have a good time but I really loved the whole game.. Beat the game and loved the shit out of it and then learned it was hated by the fanbase. Really confused me but I guess if you wanted RE4 but new, those expectations might not help you to enjoy the game.

Me too. I think people expectations got in the way of their perception. I went in blind with no expectations and had a blast. One of my favorite gaming and co-op experiences.

Re6 is a good re game but not what the community wanted, since the game is more on action and not that much horror. Maybe if they added part horror parts than action parts would it make the game a little bit more scarier because I mean, you can dash, slide, independantly melee, quick shot, lunge sideways, forwards or backwards, and do a coup de gracĕ (aka a very strong attack). You also have different health mechanics and, never seen in any re game, stamina (or so called "combat gauge"). From upgrading weapons with weapon parts or money to becoming skill points. It was obvious that it wasn't a survival horror anymore, but a full on action packed game. It was a very disliked re game that it almost made the re franchise collapse, luckily re7 saved it. If re6 was more scarier, maybe more people would've liked it more.
