Track 1
The first of the tracks on the WWDTAS CD. Just thought I'd put the tracks on as I am watching the show again next year for the second time! Enjoy!
NOTE: I wrote the above description upon uploading this video.
I saw Walking with Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular once more for a third viewing on it's final tour in 2018. I will truly miss this show. It was something undeniably special, and I feel so fortunate that it wasn't just a once in a lifetime experience for me. Unforgettable.

I always loved walking with dinosaurs as a kid and I am so glad I had the chance to see this version of it not only once but twice.

This was a once in a lifetime experience that i'll never forget. Chills go down my spine as i listen to this and type this at this very moment. Everything about this was beautiful, the way the backgrounds changed, the way the plants seemingly popped up and appeared like magic. God, it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. I remember the first time i went there and as a young child i was blown away. I got myself that foam dinosaur mask and a shirt and one of the booklets that showed the making of the dinosaurs and arena. The ending where the baby tyrannosaurus and the mothers shadows were behind a burning sun, touching snouts as everything went white is still burnt into my mind this very day and it will never leave me. This was the most beautiful thing i've ever seen and i'm so glad i got to see this live. I'm crying tears of joy right now, the roar of the tyrannosaurus that shook the arena and the coos of the utahraptors is so clear in my head that i swear i was sitting in the seats with people waving around neon lights. I swear i feel like i could've touched the brachiosaurus's neck as it came close to the crowd and bellowed. If you get to see this, do it. Do it and you will never ever regret it. This is a experience that will never burn out of your mind and you'll just be blown away no matter how old or young you are. Thank you, BBC. Thank you for making up a huge part of my childhood that still lingers with me to this very day. Art was made that day. Art that couldn't be replicated or replaced.

I viewed this when i was young, too. I feel your nostalgia, its not often a show rivals the source material. It was a blast to see this while it lasted, may this amazing company reach even greater lengths!

@@fusion8984 didn't expect someone to reply to this 2 year old comment of mine on something so obscure my opinion on this remains the same, this shit slapped like no other and i'm surprised not many people talk about it also an additon of nostalgia; you remember visiting the site where you could get tickets and stuff and the screen would shake as the sound of the tyrannosaur's roar played? that was fucking cool

I've seen this memorable experience twice and it's a reminiscence that I want to remember forever. I remember bawling my eyes out when the T-Rex and the youngling had experienced the asteroid collision, I think it was roughly 2009-10 when the bizarre project came to Australia, I was young back then. It still a gloomy and eerie thought to think about that massive asteroid impact wiping out all Mesozoic life on planet earth... 65 Million years ago. This soundtrack will forever be my heart; my soul; and my prehistoric child. I will cherish it to the end of time. I wish dinosaurs were still striving today...

I saw this live in Nashville with some tickets I won when I was 7. I’m a paleontologist now, over a decade later. This theme still makes me cry and remember what it was like to see these creatures with a size perspective for the very first time, when I saw what I couldn’t be sure were real, living dinosaurs. For the same vibe and sense of childhood wonder, I recommend Prehistoric Planet (2022).

Prehistoric Planet is breathtaking. I wondered if any documentary would ever stand up to the original "Walking with" series, and Prehistoric Planet fulfilled those dreams. Awesome to hear you're a palaeontologist! I still hope to become one some day. What in particular are you studying in the subject? Any preferences when it comes to research?

I'm so thankful I got to see both the Arena Spectacular and The Live Event (a total of 13 shows between both of those productions when they came to my town while touring in California). It's my favorite stage show ever, and this theme transports me back to the magic of seeing dinosaurs come alive. 🦕🦖💖

when I saw this production, not only did i buy a toy puppet during the intermission, (i was 5 at the time) the dinosaurs were so realistic, i actually cried when, i think a stegosaurus was injured and ran off stage, the music was sad at that moment, the stage spectacular was a brilliant production, too bad the movie was nowhere near the quality of the documentary or the stage show, and featured none of the same dinosaurs. just imagine if instead of a baby voice saying stuff over a baby pachyrhinocsaurus, the movie was a story, following an individual and it didn't have some stupid voiceover. imagine how cool it would be if the walking with seiries was 8 movies and series not just 7.
