We may miss Jun and Wang, but I'm glad they weren't forgotten as important characters in the Tekken world. They're both so memorable, Wang being an old master that taught many promissing fighters, and Jun being responsible for bringing light into the world with her presence and gifted son for Tekken 3. Tekken 2 is truly one of the most important entries in the franchise.

Meh, it'd be better to save Jun for Tekken 8 instead. Since that game's more than likely gonna focus on Kazuya and Jin's final battle, it would make more sense to have Jun step in after a long absence.

I still think the problem isn't the new character herself, but the awful way they introduced her. You don't do a 10 second teaser that shows diddly squat for a brand new character, especially after weeks of build up and having people sit through two hours of devs not really talking about anything. Bamco could've avoided a ton of negative publicity by just waiting to put out a full trailer like they've done with, literally, every other dlc character.

I like how you make these fights cannon. Man Tekken 2 was the true breakout in the franchise. Tekken 3 and Tag Tournament 1 was when Tekken was at its peak.

I always wondered why Wang was Jun's sub-boss (and vice versa) story-wise. Nothing about it gets officially brought up in later games... best guess is they have ties to the Mishima Saga anyway (Kazuya is mysteriously drawn by Jun's presence and Wang's best friends with Jinpachi) and the fact they're both fighters of purity. More or less, it's a "close analog" situation...

I think it's something along the lines of Wang looking for a successor to take down the corrupt Mishima Zaibatsu leaders. He had previously sought out Marshall Law for this purpose.

Probably because Wang wanted to kill the Mishimas in order to end their evil rule, and Jun stood in his way because she sensed the good within Kazuya(which she could awaken), so she was calling for a less "extreme" way.

I know Harada confirmed that Jun is officially alive but missing, but just imagine if Wang makes a surprise appearance in Tekken 8. Harada hasn't made any statements about Wang's status as yet, but he never said anything about him being dead, either.

Jinrei ties everyone together too. He's Jinpachi's drinking friend, linking him directly to the Mishimas. He's Xiaoyu's grandfather, tying him to the new age story. His moveset implies he trained Michelle Chang in martial arts. He even fights Feng Wei, being a brief master to him in Tekken 5.

Yea it's crazy. And yet he is not even the best character in the game. Sidestep gave him a big advantage though. Btw, he is not necessarily the only character who can sidestep. Baek can sidestep too up to 3 times with his flamingo stance. It's a little bit harder to control and entering flamingo stance alone is difficult enough, but he does sidestep

Bruce has an unblockable string with f2, d4,3 which is also an infinite on backturned characters (maina showcased that one once). Wang kills you with waning moon into death combo. I don't really know how i would rank these characters by now, but i'd say these are the top 3

I like Jun, but I do wonder why she's seemingly a highly requested character considering she's had one canon appearance. Huh. Never seen that stage the Jun/Kaz fight took place on. Wow, I know Demon Scissors is a mid, but it's funny that Jun can still parry it when Kazuya's practically flat on his back.

The technical answer is because Wang character was cloned from Michelle in Tekken 1 with some additional moves. A more story-telling wise, they simply shared the same martial art root, since Michelle is of mixed descent (his father is from Hongkong).

당연히 철권 3가 발매시기도 그렇고 전세계에서 주목을 받을 수 밖에 없었던게 완성도라는 게 있잖아요. 😇 시작이 버파 아류라고 해도 그렇지 독보적인 캐릭터들과 오늘날과 비슷한 감각의 게임성을 고려해보면 완성도가 뛰어나다는 방증이니까요. 철권 2도 인기가 있어도 버파 2만큼의 지지도가 있지 않았던거 같습니다. 무엇보다 철권 2는 철권 1보다도 밸런스가 더 안좋았던 탓도 있고요.

버파 3도 만만치 않게 인기가 많은 게임이지만 상대적 저평가를 당한 게임이라 버파 2에 많이 밀리지 제가 드캐로 했을때도 은근히 아는 사람도 있었고요. 🤭🤭 게임이 갑작스레 변화되서 복합적으로 호불호가 있었거니와 일본에서는 여전히 현역으로 아케이드 기판으로 돌아가고 있지만 세계대회 때문에 버파를 더 축소시킨 원인이라고 봅니다. 하물며 철권 3의 대인기로 철권 태그 1~ 철권 4에서 본격적인 한글화로 인해서 유저들이 더 늘 수 밖에 없는 결정적인 요인으로 작용됐다고 봅니다. 😎 철권 2에서부터 비록 중간보스(기판 여부에 따라 디폴트 캐릭터)여도 한국인 캐릭터를 등장시켰고 철권 3에서 포텐이 터진 화랑 때문에 인기가 급상승 된 것도 국내 유저를 타깃했다고 합니다.

철권 1 한정으로만 되는 버그로 컴퓨터도 뒤 가드가 되요. 정상적인 방법으로는 안되고, 무조건 숙이고 발동되는 거라 1P 기준 "2~4~" 혹은 "1~" 방향으로 타이밍으로 막는다는 느낌으로 사용하면 되겠습니다. 가장 쉽게 접근하시려면 하단 공격으로 갖다가 하단 뒤 가드 연습해보면 됩니다.(성공률이 조금 높음) 🧐🧐 하단 뒤가드가 잘 안되면 "2~1~" 방법도 좋습니다. 상단, 중단 공격을 뒤가드하려면 기상 가드를 한다는 느낌으로 "뒤돈 상태 2~4" 누르셔야 가능합니다. 연타성이 있는 풍신류의 섬광열권(LP, LP, RP), 로우, 리의 좌연권(LP 5연타)같은 간단한 기술로 연습해볼 수 있습니다. 😅
