The song is sung marvelously by Naeem Turi, however, the credit for this great heart wrenching dialogue and poem must go to Saail. Whose village, Dargai(Malakand) is just merely 8 miles from our village. It shows the depth of thought and his concern about the plight of people. They are forced to leave their loved pukhtunkhwa and loved ones to make a living, thanks to our corrupt leaders who are busy stealing and plundering while giving scant attention to the misery of the people.

I guess my comments were removed inadvertently. What I said was that this song by Naeem is heart-wrenching and true. The same song is sung also by Naghma where the audience is seen clapping and dancing. Perhaps the audience there did not realize the gravity of what the poet is saying. Our young men are forced to go abroad to make a living leaving their loved ones behind because of circumstances and our corrupt government busy stealing. We should be crying, not dancing to this song. Thanks.
