Maine Coon Buster Loves Spring!

I have made lots of adventure videos recently because this is Buster's favourite time of the year! It's the perfect weather for him when it's sunny but still not so hot. So I hope you like these video 😄 The next one will be a funny video with Buster, Ada and Freya (if everything goes as planned) and then I think there will be more adventures again for a couple of weeks 😺

Aww, so many ticks. It would be wise to think about a tick repellent for cats. I always give my cats one when i go out intocthe woods with them.

I so enjoy going with Buster on his forays into the wilds! 😊 I like watching him and wonder what goes on in his mind. He likes to pick the tallest rock to sit on and survey his domain, and really wants to go into little "caves" behind certain rocks. He's so majestic! I see him in a purple cloak and golden bejeweled crown as he sits on his rock (throne) and looks out on his realm as the sun is setting. Ahhh, to feel such confidence and sense of place must be wonderful. ❤😊❤

Haha yes, he really is like a king! I was thinking that I should go to another nice castle and have a coronation for him, if I can find a nice crown that he accepts to wear 😹

Buster is really adventuresome! Everything he could find to climb, he climbed it; he explored every opening and crevice under the rocks, he chased birds in the brush pile, and he bounced and dashed all over the place. He obviously had a wonderful time, and I'm sure he had a well-deserved nap when he got home.

A solo adventure. A reward for being such a good mentor to the younger cats lately? He certainly looks like he is enjoying being the leader! Buster made this adventure with the fresh green grass and the bluest of blue skies even more enchanting!! Busters green eyes ullimated with this beautiful scenery!!I have to say at the 1st of thus video when Buster layed down and was just taking in his surrounding was The Most Majestic beautiful I have ever witnessed. A picture is worth a Thousand Words. You need to have that framed on your wall!! I know you are going to look back later on in life and realize "This Was The Best Time Of My Life!! I have a tool to remove them 🙂 But it's not so bad, he gets on average one tick that bites after each adventure

What a lovely place for Uncle Buster to take a walk. Does he like to be by himself or does he like company, like Ada or Dexter? Also, do you have to worry about fleas or ticks over in Sweden? Fleas & ticks are a big problem in the US. Thank you for sharing Uncle Buster's walk with all of us :)

Buster loves it, both with or without another cat joining us 😄 We do have ticks here from now and throughout the summer. I remove maybe 10 from his fur and one on average bite him after each adventure. But they are easy to remove and not dangerous to cats. They are much more dangerous to me because they can carry diseases 😕

I've been going to ask if you had wood ticks in Sweden. Yours looked pretty small--are they the deer tick variety that carries disease? I live in Minnesota's St. Croix River Valley which is one of the worst places on earth for ticks. The spring is nearly unbearable and you have to be so careful. How many did Buster have when you got home?

Sweden in spring time. The sun is shining, birds are singing, Buster is striking ridiculously photogenic poses. EDIT: went "eep" when I saw the tick. I guess his fur offers a fair bit of protection, unless you don't catch them and they manage to slowly wriggle through the fur.
