Absolutely Gorgeous kittens 💞💞💞💞 Glad to see that you're other 2 welcomed them easily. My husband and I didn't have any problems introducing new kittens into the house until the last 4 we got and my little diva Belle just walked around the cage we put them in hissing and every chance she got to hit 1 she did. It took her at least 3 months to accept them and these 4 are the sweetest and most loving kittens we've ever had. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

I have two sibling Maine Coon kittens myself (Lily & Teddy) who are now 16 weeks. I was surprised to hear your kittens "meowing". Mine don't meow at all. Mine make what I have learnt are "trilling" sounds. They are Blue/grey with gold eyes. Yours are stunning by the way ❤

@@MaineCoonDaily WOW, you have four? My two eat so much food at 16 weeks, and their rate of growth is like nothing I've ever seen in any of my other cats. Watched this video the first time today, and i wasn`t surprised that Fred had a slightly messy fur as a young boy. And was a little naughty 😂 both boys showed their character and were not very shy at their new home. Today it`s hard to believe that they`re just big kittens. Some Coonies grow up for 4 years, slow but getting bigger and fluffier over time. Fred and Oscar were very well socialized from the breeder, they had nearly no problems settling in. Rosie was like "oh, you lost your mom, i`ll adopt you" 😻 she looks like she could be a great foster mom for kittens. Not sure about Mona, she`s some sort of a puzzle for me 😊
@MaineCoonDaily2 жыл бұрын
You're so right - their breeder is a fantastic lady named Jess and her cattery is Rudycats. She's a home breeder and her young daughter is an excellent kitten-socializer. Rosie was a breeding cat at the same place and Fred and Oscar were 8 weeks when she left there to live with us so she had mixed with them before. After a gap of 5 weeks, they came to live with us so she may have recognized them. Mona was also from Jess. She had a litter but didn't want to be a mum. She came to us before Fred and Oscar were born, and I don't think she's ever been a fan of them.

@@MaineCoonDaily Not all female cats are good moms, and there can be some tragedy. Good mom cats losing the entire litter or having only stillborn kittens, bad mom cats having huge litters, but not caring or loving the babies. My Maya was such a tragedy cat, a very loving and caring mom, but sick with cancer and being an incest cat. Born feral, she was sick and had trouble, had a rough life and no trust in human. After 2 weeks of feeding her, she began to trust carefully, we get closer over time, but she was always ready to run away from me. Until one of her kitten was too weak to survive without help. She was so brave to ask me for help by showing me her weak kitten and meowing pitiful. This day ended for me with carrying her 2 kitten home, she followed very careful and shy, but refused to give up. I immediately called the vet and we went there, Maya was in panic, hissed and spitted at the vet, but stayed on my lap, cuddling very close to me. After her weak daughter was rescued and safe, Maya fell in love with me and decided to stay at my home. She needed some time to feel comfy, but showed much intelligence. She accepted the litter box very fast, accepted the cat tree and some scratching toys, and she always took care for her kitten. Maya was never a beautiful cat, she was a little skinny, had weak rear legs so i built stairs for her to reach every point she wanted. After a few weeks she wasn`t shy anymore and was a perfect house cat. She found her own way to tell me when she wanted something and teached me much about cats. After her kitten were weaned, she changed to a caring and loving big sister for her kitten, never abandoning them, teaching them all they need and how to cat. You know Tigga, she was the former weak daughter of Maya, close to death but rescued. It was a wonder for me that this former weak and dehydrated girl changed to the sweetest kitten, she won so many hearts with her cuteness and sassy pink nose. Your Mona looks like she only wants her human, a place in your bed at night or forcing you to some playtime at night. She keeps her distance to Fred and Oscar most time, is closer to Rosie, but closest to you and your husband. Even hard to understand, cats are easy to love...

@@MaineCoonDaily yes we are very excited. We have a 15 year old Norwegian Forest cat and his brother who was 17 1/2 died in November. So we thought it would be good to have cat company for him as he was never without his brother before. Just hope they all get on . Threw males but they will all have been done. So our 15 year old will be the big brother now instead of the being the baby in the house.

@@juleselliott7196 Ohhh, that's so sad. We had 2 brothers. One passed in August 2019 aged 14 and the other was lost without him. Then he passed in March 2020. Awww Fred & Oscar are so cute and hopefully won't torture the girls too much while they're going through their kittenhood ... we have one baby with a 4some of 10 year old + Siamese and he can be a handful. But he's learning to be respectful of his elders.

Hi, Thank you for commenting. They are cute - I can't get anything done because I keep watching them play. Rosie treats them like she's their mum and they seem to like her. She lost 9 kittens about 3 months ago and was then spayed, which is how she came to live with us. It's like she's adopted the boys. Mona, true to her name, keeps moaning at them. What are your cats called?

Careful how HIGH you raise up the toys in the air while you make them jump to get it. Easily can cause back leg dislocation or sprains in a kitten. Be aware that Marine Coons can develope hip dysplasia. Big cats but prefer lower than too high up for good reason. My Maine Coon Spartacus is the joy of my life now 12 yrs.old. Coons require way more protein than average cat. Watch the dry carb filled cat food. 40%protein at least needed for them and freeze dried treats only along with wet food. You probably did your research on Maine Coons already! Your kittens are absolutely stunning.❤️

And you’re right, we’ve thoroughly researched every health condition,their nutritional requirements and much more, in fact we write about Maine Coons extensively on our website, petsKB.com. @MaineCoonDaily4 жыл бұрын
Our Rosie is 19 months and is taller than our previous two boys already. Maine Coons can vary hugely in size and fluffiness too. Males aren't always bigger than females. Rosie has medium length fur, Mona is a bit fluffier. I think Fred and Oscar will be really fluffy and tall as they are larger than the average kittens.
