I was thinking about the safety systems yesterday. I normally turn them on, which used to annoy me but isn't so bad since they started giving you enough time to do it at the the start of timetable services. I bought the BR 101 Expert yesterday in the sale and obviously that has them on by default. It occurred to me that this just made me not learn where 3 of the switches were :)

Ah yes the expert 101, a fine DLC!

@@TheBritishAce I see that the expert 101 is a bit different and comes with a 5 minute tutorial purely about how to turn SIFA off :D (Presumably on the basis that you might want most of the safety systems but that you get annoyed by pressing q every 30 seconds). :)

I don’t know why this is happening but I find with the new Desiros (350 and 380) I find that when your departing in exterior view the traction motor sounds can only be heard in the lead unit and no others. This also seems to be a problem with the 801 where the sounds for the traction motors can only be heard in the first 3-4 coaches.
