No way mate - Toney was class. He had a number of amazing touches in build up play. He is a target man. He had a great 1-2 play to send Mainoo on a breakaway. Toney also is clinical penalty taker you want for knock-out rounds. He has pace and playmakes. If anything, you'd want Toney to be more aggressive in taking goal-scoring chances and demanding the ball. Bellingham sits on the ball a bit too much. More Maddison. More Toney. @@dondamon4669

@@dondamon4669I disagree, I think Toneys style is much more suited to how we play. Our teams setup for our striker to receive the ball to feet, not run in behind like Watkins. I think Toney has a presence about him that we need when Kane isn’t on the pitch. He shouldn’t need to run lots and track back all the time, we need him up there ready to receive the ball and hold it up.

We have absolute class accross the middle of the park but unfortunately we lack any depth at centre-half... If Stones is out of the Euros, we'll struggle, it's a very weak area for us... In the late 90s and early 2000s, we had Terry, Ferdinand, Southgate and many others as central defender options... Similarly at centre-forward... If Kane gets injured, the drop-off is absolutely massive!... I remember when we had Shearer, Sutton, Collymore, Owen, Heskey, Fowler, Ferdinand, Sheringham, Cole all around at a similar time... That depth in strikers is absolutely light years from what we have now!
