I think plastic wont produce enough torque for a long lasting movement. Will you go for a metal one in the end? Or bite the bullet and use weights?

Hey there, been doing research and people say the mainspring has to be printed from PETG. The hairspring is better with PLA but I guess not for the mainspring. -Best

generally a main spring escapement usually lasts 30-15 day's!! most just use tempered metal! U just need a reverse escapement winding 2 test how to wind this up!! good luck!!
