I have that same stand for my streetfighter. You can’t beat it for the money!

I once met an airplane mechanic at a gas station who was riding an SV650 with the cleanest chain. She had installed a manual chain lubricator. Some time later I put one on my bike and it was a revelation. It basically captures all dirt and grime, then flings it off. 30,000 miles later I replaced the chain and sprockets, not because there was any wear but because I was getting nervous about it. I think once you put a chain lubricator on a bike, it is now basically a cam chain in the way it's bathed in oil.

I never knew that even existed!

I’ve learned that a motorcycle is more enjoyable if i can afford to not worry too much it, it must be a total blast to be in that position with a streetfighter!

I had the same exhaust come in for my Panigale v4s last Tuesday. Was dyno tuned to 199 at the rear wheel! Epic exhaust with non stop flames haha. Money well spent

My brother has owned a 13 (I think) Diavel. He didn't own it for long. Nothing wrong with the bike, just he gets bored of things so quickly. So as a result, he didn't bother with maintenance once the excitement of owning a Ducati wore off. But I was surprised how the bike just kept rolling. Didn't have a lot of miles so who knows how long it would go without proper work, but I thought something would go wrong but nothing did...yet. That said, you are correct about cost. I've owned a few Honda's and they weren't exactly cheap to maintain. I own a Moto Guzzi now and I couldn't care less of cost as it is such a damn sweet bike. I try my own maintenance when I can, but also know when it's better to have professional do his thing. Italian bikes are just something else. You WANT to take good care of them. Sweet bike my dude.

If you were to get another bike, what would you get??
@OneWheelUp179 ай бұрын
I would probably get a ZH2, that platform is really intriguing to me.

theyre are just like every other bike....exept they cost more......and the maintenance is also way more.....but theyre like every other bike

I’ll give you that the desmo service is pricey, but the routine maintenance isn’t much more. My past 5 bikes were around the same cost when doing own oil changes. The oil filter is the only part that was a tad more.
