Wow that's crazy. I gonna check my F3 now. 🎉❤

Unless you dropped your bike, I'm sure yours is fine, lol. In early 2024, the guy wrapping my bike dropped it and damaged several parts. I didn't notice the clutch cover until we completed the build and started riding it. Sucks big time, but another is on its way 😄

@ESBKLife Ouch !!! I might be a little upset.
@ESBKLife2 күн бұрын
@@RideThe6 A little doesn't start to explain it! And on top of that, the wrap was shitty. Take a look at, I think the second or third video in the build series for this bike. I talk about it a bit and show the damage, except for the clutch cover.

You know, a pre-owned complete wire harness is reasonably priced on eBay. It would take only a few hours to re-route everything. Just a thought

I love your videos man. Not much MV content out there. So bring more vids.

ok sorry new to the channel, just saw your clutch install video, and the cover looks clean! YOU cracked the cover , probably not your fault. check the pull rod clearance!

@scotsmith8810 No need to say sorry brotha, its all good! I thought about that, but the guy that did the shitty wrap on my bike early in 2024, dropped it on the right side. That’s when it was damaged or I suspect when it was damaged. However, having said that it's definitely possible that "I" did something wrong. It wouldn't be the first time LOL! However, the installation on the STM is pretty straightforward.

@@ESBKLife not possible to crack the cover from the inside out by dropping the bike.

are you changing clutch cover with has window one? CNC has it, so, you can flex the STM Clutch to everybody...
@ESBKLifeСағат бұрын
@@collectco.5060 haha unfortunately not😁. A stock cover is in its way. Besides, a lot of track day orgs don’t allow them.

Question, Do you have a detail video on how to adjust the valves on a Aprilia RSV4 or to check them to see if they need adjustment.
@ESBKLife2 күн бұрын
Sorry, I do not. I don't typically don't mess with engine internals. Valve adjustments are one of the few things that I will pay and experienced tech to do. I also heard RSV4 valves are the bitch 😁

looks like the clutch pull rod hit the inside of the cover .is the stm clutch and pull rod stock on the bike ? if not, the pressure plate or the pull rod may sit farther out ,causing the rod to hit the inside of the cover when you pull the clutch fully?. make sure you don't crack the new cover! maybe leave some slack in the cable? or grind down the end of the pull rod?
@scotsmith88102 күн бұрын
farther ?
@ESBKLifeКүн бұрын
I agree, the inside crack definitely looks like the rod hit the cover. I suspect that happened when the bike was dropped by the guy doing the wrap. At the time it didn't have the R&G protective cover on it. The STM doesn't have any adjustment for the pushrod like other slipper clutches, but I will definitely recheck everything based on your comments for the new cover. Hell, I'll probably do it before the new cover gets here. Thx for the suggestions!!!

Curious,was the cracked cover a crash victim protected by the case guard or just a bad casting?
@ESBKLife2 күн бұрын
Neither. The guy who wrapped the bike dropped it! I didn't notice it until the bike build was finished, and I started riding it. Live and learn!

Nice! I do not lol. I'm a shade tree mechanic at best. However, I've been turning wrenches on my bikes for a long time. Any professional insight you might have would definitely be welcomed!!!!
