Hey guys, thanks for the informative vid! Out of curiosity, how have you found these things in terms of durability? I'm no stranger to the old-school cedar-and-canvas canoes, and more modern kevlar models - but the fabric in both of these has been fortified with lacquer, etc. I'm considering buying an Ally next summer - but I'm dreading that I might shell out four grand, only to end up with a bent rib or abraded hole. I'm also curious if wave action or water pressure when loaded are likely to deform the sides and ruin the handling. Basically, should I be expecting this to perform in a manner similar to the aforementioned rigid-cloth canoes, or should I expect to handle it like a delicate inflatable raft?

Reassured and scared that even with a used one you still have a hard time putting it together.
