I so relate to your scalp issues. I tried all the over the counter medicated shampoos for years, but I finally went to a dermatologist about it a few years ago and wish I had gone sooner. Got a prescription for Fluocinolone Acetonide topical oil. It keeps my scalp so much clearer. Definitely recommend getting advice from a dermatologist.

I don’t have any product recommendations but I did see a stylist on TikTok recently, she actually parts her clients hair while the shampoo is in and uses a toothbrush to scrub the scalp where she parted and she said it really helps to clean her clients scalps especially the ones who have dry scalp issues.

Yes, don’t worry, that’s not dandruff. It’s just dry scalp and product buildup because the scalp doesn’t get touched daily with certain styles. It’s normal. Getting it well cleaned between styles is exactly right. Small amounts of simple oil help too (like Moroccan oil) daily or every other day but just depends on your styles. Your hair looks great!

Hey girlie...when i make my matcha at home i use dunkin donuts vanilla creamer(bomb) and french vanilla syrup with almond or soy milk. And its not like starbucks but its pretty good!! But girl starbucks have me in a chokehold with their matcha!! Enjoyed the vlog sis!!

Consider going to the dermatologist for your scalp and get on Clobetosol solution-clear scalp in days without stripping shampoos like Selsum. Also, I notice you get sick often. Get on supplements.

For your dandruff issue: Try cornrows and add aloe vera gel to the parts every day for two weeks. This will add a natural moisture to the scalp, and it worked for my dandruff issues.

The one you want to get from Starbucks is the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha. Chefs kiss. It looks like they just gave you a regular matcha with lavender poured in. But it’s the one with the foam that is so delicious.

I had super dry scalp before I started using turmeric with olive oil. Use whatever oil you choose and aff turmeric to. It helps me a lot!

Please go see a dermatologist/trichologist first because if you do have dandruff and not dry scalp, that would feed the yeast that is causing the dandruff on your scalp. Dandruff is caused by the fungus on our scalp feeding on excess sebum(oil) on the scalp.

agree w/ the tazo matcha being bad. it doesn't taste good at all. i don't know if you have a Wawa near you, but they have so many matcha variations, its now my go to place for matcha drinks lol as well as any bubble tea shop! i recommend matcha/taro together if you can find it, its way better than lavender in my opinion.

Hey gorg! Have you ever looked into herbal rinses? Diluted ACV/peppermint/tea tree in a spray bottle, leave it on your scalp to soak and then wash it. There's a dozen other combinations that you could try of course but there's shampoos with ACV on the market nowadays too that you could also give a try.Good luck!

I also deal with severe dandruff, but my dermatologist was just too far and always booked. Nizoral and Rugby selenium sulfide shampoos work and can be bought in stores. For flare ups and spot treatments you can buy Scalpicin. If you have a dermotologist and good insurance I’d suggest you ask for a stronger ketocanazole shampoo and fluocinole prescription. I also deal with flakes in my eyebrows/eyelashes it’s hell. I also noticed that diet plays a huge role in my flare ups…but I’m sorry I’m not giving up carbs and sweets.
