I feel like whenever life gets difficult and we are so overly focused on ourselves whether it be due to illness/ mental health/ problems in life it helps so much to help those around us even if in small ways. i felt so lost as well recently losing my job, leaving fiancé, two kids depending on me while i’m beyond depressed and struggling but focusing on the people around me for a bit helped to ease the anxiety of feeling like my world is crumbling. i began visiting my siblings more, donating lots of clothes and furniture to those in need, and volunteering at least once a month. it has helped me immensely to be able to be there for others while also learning to be there for myself ❤️
