Not really. The harvester is still driving, the tractor just adds continuous momentum, so the strain is well within the limits of the drive.

no this year its fairly dry but we coudnt plant until june because of rain in the spring but it hasnt rained since

Yes, they're quite legal, they're just rarely used because our cities are generally much tighter on corners and roads so it makes driving something like that a lot harder. There will be a huge number of places it will really struggle with compared to using the cab over design we normally stick to here

While rare, they do exist and can be imported / made street legal without too much effort. Reporting from Belgium which is a neighboring country of The Netherlands.

Anywhere in the low countries (Belgium, Netherlands) you'll find regions with wet tracts like these, they're called polders.

@@pb1069 Naja, Fruchtfolge ist auch eine Frage wirtschaftlicher Zwänge. Welche Zwänge hinter der Entscheidung hier Mais anzubauen stecken, weiß ich nicht. Ich staune auch, dass sich der technische Aufwand bei der Ernte lohnt! Das Feld steht sicher nicht ganzjährig unter Wasser, das vertrüge der Mais nicht. Übrigens, einen wassergesättigten Boden können Sie nicht verdichten, aber die Struktur ist auf jeden Fall am A.....
