I’ve come to appreciate this song a lot more since I first listened to it. It’s such a calm but heartwarming song. It’s the transition from hurting over a relationship into letting go of your pain. I’ve never been in a relationship but I love how on tour she’s like “think of something/one you want to let go” when we get to the end of the song. This bridge is deeply illegal (any Chats and Reacts fans here?). The crowd shouting the outro background vocals or this song truly are special! I want to see her live once in my life! YOU GO MAISIE AND THE BAND! ❤❤❤

Lyrically, sonically and “feels-wise”, Maisie definitely has a harder TS influence on her more than what we’ve seen with Olivia. And realizing that, I am leaning more towards maisie’s writing and sound than with Olivia’s. Don’t get me wrong, Olivia is a great songwriter too and her vocals are on another level, but my personal preference is Maisie’s sound and stories 🤍
