Thank you for this. Even before the pandemic, there's just something about Maisky's playing more out of the other cellists I loved listening to over and over again. I actually had a different video on tabs before nearly deleted everything, and I was having trouble finding it. I'm glad I came across this, though, cause it's that much longer~ lol It's definitely one of my highlighted yt videos on my playlists 💗 thank you for recreating such a wonderful suit with the beautiful gift you have.

Wonderful performance, but the microphone setup leaves a lot to be desired. The microphone distorts, and is in mono. It made it very frustrating to listen to. It's a shame because Maisky is my absolute favorite cellist ever.
