There have been some solid Vanilla releases recently - This one and Seta by Moresque, Carbonara by Lorenzo Pazzaglia, Silky Woods by Goldfields & Banks, Vanilla Woods by 7 Virtues and Byredo's Vanille Antique...I haven't smelled Escapade Gourmande yet BUT, it IS blowing up on KZbin and Social media right now...Must be really, really good! I have owned this for a few months now and to me, it's hands down the most beautiful caramel scent on the market. Cool that you found it, it's not a well known fragrance so far ;-)

Back in the late 90’s early 2000’s I wore a fragrance from Victoria’s Secret called vanilla caramel. That was THE most delicious, intoxicating, comforting fragrance I’ve ever experienced! It was an actual perfume. Sadly they discontinued it after a few years. I went thru countless bottles of it and Ive never been able to find anything like it again 😢 everyone would ask me what it was!!!

I got a sample with a bunch of other samples when I ordered Lorga’s Ambre Platine from Krystal Fragrance. I immediately fell in love with it and ordered a full bottle. It gets better and better with each use. It lingers on clothing interminably and makes me feel warm and fuzzy. At first I worried about its performance, but it seems to cure and multiply over time. Currently my favorite gourmand. In second place is 4170 Tuesday’s Captured By Candlelight. So, so delicious.

Delicious……Crema di Latte, Orgasmo, Crush on Me, Blanche Bete and Warm Vanilla Sugar are delish. Praline in Maple is delish and fresh.

Oh yay! So glad you reviewed this. I got a sample and on first spray I was like “meh”. But about 5 minutes in it hit me and I was like WOW!!! I bought a bottle for a friend for Christmas. Very hard to part with it.

My #1 most wanted to try, probably buy. I’ve been looking for a true true custard. I’m such a vanilla lover from way back with my Comptoirs in the 90s. I’m thrilled that houses are releasing these vanillas! I also adore those warm, comforting bakery scents. Nostalgia is a killer. Right now I’m spraying Angels Share like crazy. Cinnamon roll.

That’s how I feel about Jousset Accident a la Vanille. I’d like to live in a cloud of it. Smells like melted butter with vanilla and sugar. I think the sandalwood is what my nose translates to melted butter 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s the one fragrance I wish would be more long lasting and project a little further so I don’t look like such a freak sniffing my arm every few minutes

Escapade Gourmande is nearly identical to Acqua e Zucchero Eau de Parfum by Profumum Roma. I tried this 3 weeks ago and it immediately reminded me of Acqua e Zucchero. This is far more affordable than Acqua, but some people may find it too sweet. Escapade is a very beautiful vanillic scent and brings good value (finally).
