If it's a car you really love, go for an Autoart. For general collecting I tend to stick to Maisto and Bburago, they're decent enough for the price. P.S. Whats your opinion on ACME models? They do a lot of classic American muscle cars; I just bought a Hemi 'Cuda from them and the detail on it is fantastic but I don't see them featured on many channels.
@ImperialDiecast3 жыл бұрын
Agree with your view 100%. As for ACME, i think they stopped making models a while ago? they're kinda hard to get over here in Europe, stock is mostly only readily available in the US, so I havent gotten one yet, but they're definitely right up there with GMP in terms of detail level, basically a step better than ERTL and Autoworld.
@donquixote20723 жыл бұрын
@@ImperialDiecast Ah, I see. I'm in the US so that makes sense. I hope you get a chance to review one someday, they have very detailed engines and chassis.
@isaacsrandomvideos6673 жыл бұрын
Yeah. They virtually look the same, massive price difference. But I’d it’s a car that you adore, obviously you will notice the wrong details. So AutoArt is amazing In that department.

Great comparison! AUTOart is of course very detailed! But for a fraction of the price, the Maisto looks plenty good in my opinion (unless you get the AA on sale which almost never happens lol)
@dreyn77802 жыл бұрын
It wasn't a great comparison. We weren't told what happens to the buyer. What's the life of the owner? Does the owner move on within 1 year? Does the owner cheat on these models? Do they quickly end up in storage forever? Do the owner's friends judge him based on these 2 cars? Do these 2 cars lead to 10 more lambos?

very nice review, i like the music, both models are very good for their prices

Great job showcasing the comparison between these two budget & premium diecast model makers. From a distance, Maisto actually looks just as good as AUTOart. Btw, Happy New Year!
@ImperialDiecast3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, and youre right, this is why I usually only buy 1/18 Autoarts if it's either on a big sale like this one, or if no budget manufacturer makes that particular car, and Happy New Year to You too!

the only way you'd even tell the difference is if you are personally familiar with the given car and know what looks right and what doesnt, otherwise you wouldnt really notice those small details autoart throws in.

@@musek5048 wrong. The manufacturer signs off on all the cars. They're All legit. They're All right. They offer a different lifestyle. Its your FUTURE with the object. Models teach you stuff. After 10 years that model has taught you a lot.

At a glance the Maisto looks fine but yeah on the finer details the Autoart is obviously superior but not perfect either. The panel gaps in places look quite poor on the Maisto, especially that window gaps.. Cheers, nice comparison video. I may do something similar in the future.

I been going back and forth before I started my collection. You defiantly can get a large variety of cars with Maisto am learning with a fraction of the price. If you want that certain look thou you gonna spend the money. Me myself I starting with Auto World and ACME because of they large selection of muscle cars which I love and I want the realistic look not like Auto Art but it has quality but u spending anywhere from 90 to 140. Gonna take me time but my collection going to b looking a certain way. Not dissing Maisto 1 18 scale its just what I decided for my collection. Thanks for sharing.👍 By the way my first Auto World car is arriving soon...lol.

Just remember that for the price of just 1 Auto Art you can buy about 15 Maisto cars, let that sink in. For only $15, what else do you expect? Maisto can’t be beat for its price. Also, at a far distance, can you really tell a difference between the two? Probably not.
@ImperialDiecast3 жыл бұрын
well said. although that is UK and US costco and sam's price, and in a select few other countries in the world that have these department stores that require a membership. Normal maisto retail price is still around $45.

For the car model its true you cant say which is which from afar. But there are autoart models that even using telescope from far away you would notice the big difference.

Not actually comparable. Unique is unique. You Paid for unique. They give you a different lifestyle. Yellow will always look yellow. Darkened wheels will always look darkened. 2 simple cars for the price of 1 complex car or hand made car. Why do you need all that complexity? Complexity takes up vast amounts of your time. Look at the car for 2 minutes and move on with your day. Why do you have to spend 2 hours each time you look at the car? Why look at the suspension when you don't know anything about suspension? Why Pay for suspension?

You paid for a unique version. That's what you got. You wanted more distraction in life. They gave you more distraction. Look at it from the perspective of the rich. Cheaper cars offer you more variety for the same price. You get 2 different cars for the price of 1. Mass production offers you 3 for the price of 1.
