She was asked to sing a Bollywood song after this, she sung "Tum hi ho" as of I remember. Despite a not so good performance in that song she got selected bcos of her classical singing. But got out in the next round, cos Indian Idol is mostly Bollywood oriented (we all know that, and maithili too had accepted that she was not good in Bollywood singing that time).
