happy 10th anniversary to "Maitreya"! i had some plans to make some kind of video to celebrate this, but those plans fell through, and the day came anyway. it was either going to be a remake/re"master" of this song with Nichijou, OR a commentary video of sorts going over some trivia and things in the video that I've never had a place to share. maybe one or both of those ideas will still come to fruition, but for now, if you're reading this -- thank you for being here and for remembering this video. see you all soon

KoboChatEnterprises I think a bit of both. I used Vegas 7 to make it and Vegas 11 to render it so they went that stable, but it was more just that my laptop couldn't handle the .veg.

***** Well I can't specifically tell you that it's any faster, I just really prefer the layout of Vegas 7. I think it may be a little faster since it's not so clogged with nonsense that I'm not using but apart from that the YTPMV-making process runs about the same. And both the audio and visuals were made in 7, to answer your first question.
