Such a waste! But I don't think she killed herself just because of her boyfriend's mom. I think she has other issues like loneliness and depression. I think she also has a mental weakness like her mom. Some people are very thick-skinned so it doesn't bother them when people yell, insult, and criticize them but some are very thin-skinned so the smallest of criticism hurts them. Successful people rarely have time for relationships so it can get very lonely. Wish I knew her, I would marry her. I'm an orphan, too so I feel her pain. I don't have a doctorate degree (just a BS) but somethings I wish I'd just go to sleep and never wake up. I saw my parents and brother died and it looks very painful so I see a quick and painless death as a blessing.

For everyone and anyone that is bashing the Hmong Culture, take into consideration that discrimination against people who are me nyuam ntsuag it not a cultural issue but rather a human issue. Discriminating against me nyuam ntsuag(orphans) happens all around the world in all culture. From the beginning of time, people who are me nyuam ntsuag were always looked down upon because of their status. It is something that happened and is still happening today and not only in the Hmong community but in every community. For an example, if you grew up watching Hindi dramas/Indian Movies or K-Drama, you can clearly see that they also discriminates against me nyuam ntsuag(orphans). I don't mean to stereotype, but most of the time its always the mothers that disapproves of their sons or daughters to date or marry a me nyuam ntsuag. Therefore how could anyone justify that it only happens in the Hmong community when the truth it happens everywhere. You and every other ignorant Hmong out there should be a shame of yourself for bashing out the Hmong culture that it's bad because you believe that only Hmong people discriminate again orphans when clearly everyone discriminates in their own community as well.
