Its actually a culture by people in Malaysia and Indonesia by the young people as a sense to respect the olders especially their parents. Also this is a practice from a wife to the husband. We will kiss our husbands' hands after solat or when we seek for an apology. Btw, you can practice this culture to your kids from now..
