Wish someone would come up with a mod which would enable goods to be put into categories with drop down sub menus. There are so many goods etc now it would help a huge amount.

I with the recipes actually had tangible effects. That may not be doable in the confines of how FS22 works, but it would be cool. Things like effecting how lean beef cattle are and that effect value based on market prices. Rather than just a fixed price for an age. Or maybe mixes having effects on milk production. Right now this is basically role play more than actually doing things in game. It is cool for what it is. I just wish we had more direct impacts of the various possible food mixes.

@@Scroft Personally I'd love to see you play a large USA or Canada map with a large cattle setup, plenty of corn and grasslands. But you play they way you feel best as I'm very much enjoying both The Farm Hand (Go George!) and Survival.

Well done, just note, with the AFA cows produce milk starting with the first calv at 27 Months of age like in reallife.

Worth adding that with the AFA enabled cows won't produce milk until at 22 months for Holstein with full production at 28 months. Similar for Brown Swiss but they start a little later

Tried the grass subsoiled. Yeah it works clears the need for plowing and leaves the grass in place couple of issues. If you have stones on it leaves a lot of rocks on the grass surface so you need to collect rocks afterwards. Second issue is its size it is only 3 Mtrs wide and only goes at 8klm per hour so it is long and painful process. But it works !

I don't think the different food types being consumed at the same rate is realistic. No matter how many peas are in my dogs food, she still manages to eat the rest and leave the peas behind

They aren't exactly the same, with AFA the bars are weighted 40%, 30%, 20% and 10%

I'd like to add into the grazing mod, how cows graze they leave bits that have gone to head. That's why farmers top their fields. It be great if we could go into the grass fields after and top it

The mods you talk about in this I would genuinely pay for like a dlc as on console but would love the cows to be more realistic than they currently are. Want the cows to be as realistic as the ones I’m milking in the daytime!

so will this Terralife mod be released before or after the next farm sim comes out.... what about the game engine changed that you cant just add new crops to the game. in the older games i remember having tons of modded crops/products. has the limit of maximum different fruit types been limited compared to the older games or something?

With the grazing, they won’t do it unless there’s no feed in the barn? Or will it always buffer the food?

Before you all get TOO excited about this mod, keep in mind that Chickens will require THREE forms of food in order to get them to lay eggs... THREE! I didn't know this and pulled the mod, its ridiculous. I can see the TMR for cows, it makes sense, but the same thing for chickens AND for sheep? If you like spending all the money you make off of eggs and wool to buy all of these foods for your animals, have at it. lol

You are playing on 1 day seasons here. But keep saying that the cows consume (and produce) so much in 1 day. But actually its 1 month offcourse. Also the maize+ guys say, play on 3 day seasons or more days, otherwise you will be feeding all day trough😅

I’ve seen a few people say you can just paint meadow grass into the fields and they should graze not sure how accurate this is or not

It depends on how the foiliage areas are setup in the mod, as a lot of mods don’t have them as they had “no use” until grazing came along there are tutorials on how to add them though

Maize plus is good, precicion farming is rediculous, gamers are using it, real farmers not... I have seen no farmer at all in the Netherlands who uses precicion farming, only thing is that it is political sponsored by the EU....

hey scroft! new here. love the videos.. been binge watching last night. how did you get enhanced animal system to work on court farms? i keep getting a error and it stops at 85% it says; Enhanced Animal System/src/EAS_AddFillTypeToSellingStation.lua:33: attempt to index local 'FillTypeToAdd' (a nil value)

Click accept and it comes up again saying he invites you to join, then it goes "Whoops, unable to accept invite". I have tried copying the link and manually joining in discord, though it says the link is invalid.
