Kalki will be the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu, but this movie is not related to that. This is some science fiction Dune kinda movie, not at all related to Kalki. It's just the name that is the same.

Kalki is a apocalyptic horse rider, he will come to earth to judge the sinners and will slaughter all false kings who are actually theives in disguise. The demon kali(it is pronounced kah-li, a male demon), he has ferious power of influence and controls humans. He is the one who destroys peace and prosperity among families. He lies in places of alcohol and gambling, and will destroy the peace of those who do not pray to the supreme one. The apocalyptic horse rider is the 10 th avatar of vishnu, the 10 th avatar is a prominent one because vishnu has infinite avatars. It is said that kaliyuga started 5000 years ago, when lord krishna died. Kaliyuga at it's final stage is 4,28,000 years from now. Where the lifespan is under 12 years of age. No religion, no concept of dharma(righteousness ) remain. In the chaos, the supreme one will be born in a secretive place on earth, called shambhala where no greed exists. A heaven where he resides and learns all the techniques of the secret masters. He finally rides the white horse with the warriors like hanuman on his side, he will slaughter every sinner mercilessly and will establish a golden age for the beings. The golden age will be of dharma( the eternal principle of balance and righteousness), the time when god will interact with humans directly. Kaliyuga will repeat after three yugas complete. Like satyuga,tretayuga, dvapara yuga and then comes kali. Edit: people will turn cannibals .
