This song came on shuffle when I was driving my car, with my wife, to the hardware store. We were going to buy a new chandelier for our dinning room because we hated our current fixture and because we felt like dying. Our son had died in my arms the day before and we didn't know what else to do. I am a music junkie, I listen to music deeply, everyday. I write deep music everyday. This was the first song I really "heard" after he died. I write this, almost 4 years later, with tears streaming down my face. I write him into many of my songs. This song was like a hug, and it is still hugging me

I always cry when I get to this scene in The OA. It's like Homer and The OA were mad, but took that pain and anger into something beautiful in the form of dance. Their hatred and anger turned into that energy needed to resurrect one of their only friends. Their love bubbled up onto the surface to just help. I cried my eyes out twice. Also, Scott coming to his senses and realizing that he's been wrong. It makes me emotional.

She was born so loaded she never felt real pain or hurt! he’s sing from the heart and he don’t give a flying f what any thinks! You can’t compare the two! She got that whole idea from what Green berets have to do in training to become a beret! They have a tank and drowned them so they know what it feels like and not to panic! Honestly, this has to be the most beautiful and purest music video I've come across in a while. I'll admit, at first, for some reason, it creeped me out. I guess it was the initial awkwardness/weird-creepiness of it, just kind of staring there. But then I watched it again and it blew me away. I love, LOVE the simplicity of it. I loved watching him spin around in the field or running down the tracks. It was so pure. It was like a kid inside an adults body. And then making the faces at the end. Man, I don't really know how to explain it. I just felt the video on pretty deep level for some reason, vaguely reminded me of the floating bag scene from American Beauty. I couldn't help but to smile at it. It was super silly, but super serious at the same time. I thought he was weird initially, but then I fell in love with his spirit. And that's not even beginning to touch on the song itself. You've gained another fan and subscriber. Keep it up!!

24 April 2024. The only time I had ever watched The OA was in Feb 17, when it was still a newly released show. Seven years (like Prairies captivity) and most details about the plot or characters faded, but never did I forget the unrepeatable oneiric experience that was listening to Prairie story. Today I reached Ep 5 and got to relive its perfect ending again. Now I remember how unique this show is. So bumped for Part 2.

I used to listen to this song every morning on my way to work. I'd see different faces in the subway but since it's Canada most people didn't look back. I remember the snow and the freezing breeze, the sunlight and my big nostalgia for my country and the guy I once thought that was the love of my life.

I watch The OA for for the 3 time and I came to see the amazing words. That void feeling in the and. Not the end. The end that we never going to see.

I love the simplicity of this music video. Black and white w a man expressing himself and the keyboard guy in the background ❤

Haven’t seen anybody post here for a while... just wanted to say I am crushing really hard on this girl i’ve been seeing and- i just don’t feel like i’m worth her time but she likes me for some reason and I really want things to work. i showed her this song and she liked it a bunch, i used to listen to this then i stopped but now i can’t stop listening to this because of her. I can’t stop thinking about you, “i’m going crazy for you”

The corona situation certainly complicates things, so you'll have to feel it out as you go along. Trust your judgement, be courageous

I had a dream last night where Devon walked with me on a moonless night and explained that the concept of the new Majical Cloudz record was a philosophical exploration of "afk" (away from keyboard). I felt happy just to walk on the empty road in the dark with him as he spoke. He asked me if I wanted to go to his cave and it was understood that Matthew would be there waiting for us. It was pitch black at this point but he lead me into the opening of a hollowed out tree, and I heard growling so I told him that I thought there were coyotes in it. I trusted that he knew what he was doing and where he was going, but pretty soon it became clear that he was also getting nervous, and we began to back out of the tree. Then I felt a coyote at my side and before I knew it, it jumped up and bit my neck and I woke up. I'm being totally honest. This dream just happened a few hours ago and then I see that you guys posted this video to an amazing new track. Hopefully you're not weirded out that I shared the dream, and I don't take the coyote attack personally. Thank you for the new music and I can't wait to hear it live when you come to San Fran. -Eli

This song: a real resurrection. What a song has to be. Yesterday I've listened to it maybe 10 times writing a poem, crying.

Is this song strangely depressing for anyone else? A single tear just fell down my eye for no apparent reason. . .

Was that Justin's child self looking at him as he takes a shot of the heroin? I just kind of thought that it was really sad. Imagine, suddenly, out of nowhere, our 7-year old self showed up and decided to stare at us while we're doing what we shouldn't be doing. The innocence in their faces slowly gets smashed up into pieces, their thoughts get scarred, and they tear up in confusion. Their values go adrift. And they have nothing else to do but spectate to what they wish they wouldn't turn into.
