You’re 💯 on these takes. The only thing I have to input is I remember going to the midnight premiere for the final movie with an ex and her friends. That fight with everyone dying isn’t cannon and doesn’t happen in the books so every time a head rolled the whole group that had read the books was either crying or angry. So as someone who knew nothing I was there for the reactions. Then when it was all a dream and they undid it all the group of people plus the majority of the packed theater all let out a unified WTF. I lost my mind from laughter then and I still remember that now to this day. Good stuff.

The baseball scene is a melty stage, or honestly nearly every melty stage can be put to a scene in these movies. But I love that, everybody acts like they aren't a fan of some weird shit when so much of it is overlapping venn diagrams from slightly different lenses, as with most things. Though, I think some shit is just weird no matter the context.
