I'd seen glass nibs like those before when trawling through Ali, but I never knew how they were used, or what they were used for exactly, so thanks so much for answering those questions for me. It's definitely a cute pen!

Love mine, I got the Seashell one last year. Use it all the time for ink samples as my go-to dip pen. I have some older ones that also have that bulb like dip tip, but I much prefer this thinner one. Thanks for the review! Stay inky!

Thanks for reviewing this pen. I bought this pen in this colour several months ago. It was $11 and change Cdn, so kind of a no-brainer. I only found one written review at the time. I really like the glass nib. I was ending up with far too many pens inked up because, of course you want to try your new ink. I ordered a lot of samples along with some full bottles. I find the extra fine nib too fine for me. I'd like to replace it. My glass nib was very smooth when I got it so it's probably hit and miss.

I am really considering this pen. I have been wanting to get into glass writting but didn't want to afford the $200 fancy ones. I do know there are $40 ones on amazon. Check out the TWSBI Draco. A very similar resin I believe.

I like my N8 a really nice glass nib, I do plan to try the EF nib at some point when my Wancai eventually runs dry!

The glass nibs remind me of that famous building in Russia, the one with the colourful domes. I like the look of that Noodler's burgundy ink, I'll have to get my hands on a bottle.

I’m interested on getting these glass nibs for a diy glass pen with a wooden body. Do you know where to buy the glass nibs only? I can’t seem to find these particular nib sold separately on ebay or aliexpress but i do find the fat onion variant (which i don’t particularly like).

I didn’t realize there was a new version of the Moonman Wancai. I have an original, like yours. I can leave it for weeks and it will start right up. I really like my N8. It also will start right up using a cartridge and the steel nib after weeks of inactivity. I think the crinkling of the cellophane disturbed Mr. Sizemore. Could he have 4 ears as well as 4 eyes? Maybe squeaking styrofoam would be more to his liking. How did he get his name?

This is a gorgeous and cute pen with a more acceptable ‘aspect ratio’ compared to Wancai. At $14, it’s a tremendous VFM… N1 and N6 are being sold in India for twice its price 😞

My guess is the N10 is not a pen for many. The N8 has many more uses. But the N10 has an interesting glass nib.

Please…. ASMR sound, you’re doing it complexly wrong. It’s very annoying. The sound is supposed to be slow and anticipating. Very slow. Just crinkled up quickly is like nails on a chalkboard.
