Having been in a relationship with a narcissist there comes a point where you begun to see them for who they really are and understand what they have been doing to you. And yet, he still tolerates it, as seen in the Colombian clip when he was talking to that attractive (and modestly dressed!) head of the arts in that country. When the Colombian lady started talking to him, M deposited her claw on his thigh and he briefly put his hand over Meghan's and rubbed her hand with his thumb to comfort her. But then pulled his hand away and went on talking to the Colombian lady. I would not be surprised to learn that he was in deep trouble when they were next alone.

I think she was squeezing his hand to warn him if he was getting "above himself" or going off message. Now he seems to be staying out of reach more often.
