MAJOR CHANGES for Marksmanship Hunters coming in 11.1 - The War Within

So this is just the inital patch notes for Marksmanship Hunters for patch 11.1. I will do another video when PTR is up to showcase more the talents and the new visuals that comes with the overhaul. Looking forward to see how the eagle interact. There is a talent in the talent tree that I have not written about in the video, but it wasn't in the patch notes so not sure what to think of it. The talent is like this anyway: No Scope - Rapid Fire grants Precise Shots.

Still holding my judgement, but this was really surprising. I think blizzard got bigger issues with Lone Wolf and the whole pet gameplay than the player base. Marksmanship has been all about being the Lone wolf for so many years, its hard to go away from that suddenly, fantasy-wise.

Yeah, agree! They say we might be able to customize it, but might isn't enough, it needs to be done imo. Both which pet and colors/variants you can do.

To me, Beast Mastery and Survival Hunters were similar with BM's being ranged Pet Owners and Survival being Melee Pet Owners. Marksmanship Hunters were in a weird middle ground. I am glad that Blizzard is forming a new take on MM Hunters. IT will be interesting to see what they come up with in the next major patch.

Still holding my judgement on this, I was very against it the first hours but then I got thinking about the visual aspect of it all, it might be cool visually. Though I wish they could just give BL to Lone Wolf and them give it a rest. Lots of changes going into TWW, then a sudden change in philosophy. I guess I am afraid of what they can mess up as I really, really love how Marksmanship plays. But, it can be great too!

No Hunter's Pet for Marks? Hate it!

Your choices are: zoo keeper, rogue with a pet, or RNG "not a pet". BM should be melee, like Rexxar. SV, ranged pet class with tricks. MM, petless ranged.

Yeah, it was fine enough. Add BL to Lone Wolf(just add an eagle to Lone Wolf that gives BL then flies away) Blizzard seems to have great issues with talents that gives flat damage boost, and the choice is on Blizzard, not players. Dont have BL connected to pets and leave Lone Wolf to be an iconic thing for Marksman. Lone Wolf is the sole reason for this change. They don't like it.

Taking away the pet is a mistake, just give MM a proper lust and be done with it. I like my pet, I like to use it in delves and open world content.

Yeah, I like it how it is myself, though add BL to Lone Wolf. A bit strange they had so many tweaks in patch 11.0.5 then change it completely. I was shocked seeing the news.

Did hunters really need a bloodlust?? Is there ever a group without a mage and or shaman?

Yeah, now and then, though I tend to find lust in someone else if I make my own party. But of around 50 m+ I have probably used lust like 10 times of those runs.
