Mere pass bhi Avenger 220 BS6 Bike Hai. Meri bhi bike ke stand ki sensor plate gir gayi thi. Iska solution ye hai, aap stand ka bolt change karke Pulsar ke stand ka bolt and nut laga de , joki Length mein thoda jayad hai, fitting bhi ok aati hai.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I think you just need to weld the side stand sensor. And if arc welding is not possible then use the soldiering kit which we use to sold the electronic parts.

Dear Sumit, I would like to share my experience of Avenger 220 cruiser purchased on Nov. 2020. I use it for daily commuting to my office. There are two phase in my daily riding. First phase through very heavy traffic and second phase through wide open highway. The bike covered around 25000 km well maintained and all the recommended service done every 5000 km. I lube the chain every 300 to 400 km with motul chain lube. I like to follow copy book rule for maintaining the bike you can say. The problem started arising a few days back with the bike refusing to start and stalling. Somewhare around 23000+ km. I ignored and thought to short out the issue in the next service which will be around 25000 km. But after around 24600 km the bike just stopped and I had to leave the bike in the middle of the road late at night with me and my wife wondering what to do. Some how we manage to park the bike at an underground parking of a building. It was on last Saturday and on Sunday the ASC (authorised service centre) was closed. However after two days ASC towed the bike to service centre and did the recommended service of 25000 km and informed me that the problem was because the software was not updated. I believed them and took the delivery of the vehicle. But after riding for about 30 km the problem started once again. Some how I started the bike and reached ASC. Service personnel at ASC no informed me that it is due to throttle body malfunction. Now the point of concern is this faulty throttle body in Avenger 220. Now I have to leave this vehicle for around 10 to 15 days at ASC. I also own a pulsar 150 2009 model, covered around 150000 km and till today also the bike looks new and start with a single kick. I am now confused whether I should keep Avenger or go for RE meteor. Kindly take some time to put your valuable inputs and insight in this regards. Let me know if any body is facing same type of problem or mine is some one of its kind.

I have faced similar problem with my avenger cruise 220 BS 6 model. Same 2020 make. Have rode it for 11000 km. Using for daily commute. Been facing occassional stalling of vehicle after last paid service done 2 months back. Had to take it to the ASC 4 times after that until they finally concluded that the throttle body is malfunctioning. Replaced it under warranty last week. Now the problem seems to be solved but I have to ride it for a while to conclude. Nevertheless it's a good bike to own in my humble opinion. Performs great in highways 🙏

I have an Avenger 160 street (2022). There have been only 2 instances where the bike broke down, both were because of a faulty sensor. First time was like you said, a rock hit the side stand sensor and it killed the engine. Had to stop using side stand for the rest of the trip after managing to tighten the sensor temporarily. Second time my TPS failed randomly. Had to run the bike in high RPMs and re-fuel to make it back home 300km because no local mechanic would touch the bike because they don’t know about these BS6 sensors. The bike is strong, but these sensors will actually leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere.

I have decided to buy this bike. But I got lot of negative feedback from mechanics saying this bike faces lot of maintenance issues like chain problem, battery problem etc. Also in small cities the spare parts will not be available easily. They also said that we need to invest lot of time for this bike's maintenance. What are your views on this ?

Naye zamane ki engineer ki kami purana mechanic sudhaar sakta hai.... Is bolt ko kholkar isme hairpin hole karakar cheera pin laga den.... Na loose hoga na girega..... Mera to kehna hai...har crucial nut me cheera pin lagna chahiye...

If the bike is not getting started and stand sensor is faulty or lost. The digital panel will show SIDE STAND warning. It won't get off even after removing side stand.

Haan footrest nahi milta na hi inke showroom me milta hai.... wo mujhe bhi alag se lagana pada... aaj meri gaadi 4 baar chalti road me band hui.... thak haar ke bajaj auto service le jana pada.... wahan unhone do baar bosch tool se update kia phir bhi dikkat aa rahi thi... phir reset kia tab ja kar bike start hui.... ab dekho kal ye dikkat aati hai ki nahi...

Thanks for sharing this important information esp the side stand issue. I would also check it in my bike. I think till the time the issue is fixed the best we could do is, use the side stand as less as possible and always keep the bike on the main stand. I agree it is not a solution but a workaround for the time being till we have a solution.

Just because of this video , Maine guess kiya ki sensor gir gaya hoga and wohi hua tha. Thoda sa peeche paidal jaake mujhe sensor bhi mil gaya . Ab Bajaj walon ne Kal bulaya hai aur unko yeh problem pehle se pata hai. @@manishnarayanshrivastav4939 sorry bro I am not a technical expert but may be I could share as per my experience. I had many such options in mind before buying avenger but the reason I opted for avenger was because of following (which were imp to me) price, comfort in touring and low maintenance (if maintained well). Overall I found it to be perfect value for money bike. I have done long rides on this and it is an effortless experience.I could ride(so far) on this for non stop 1.5 hours without any stress.infact I saw so many videos which said it's not a city bike but I live in mumbai and have ridden this bike in extreme traffic conditions and I could easily manoeuvre this in traffic. So it completely depends on your preferences. If it is your first bike and you have doubts on how much you could use it or how well would you be able to maintain then I would suggest to spend limited money. Avenger is a great deal and you would never regret buying since you're spending a reasonable amount. However of price is not at all your concern and have fallen in love with meteor then go for it. Always remember " suno sabki karo mann ki" 😉 you will never regret.

Good findings and good resolutions also. Bajaj should address the problems now. I have CBR250R but am planning to buy this one also just because of the seating comfort that is on offer. It is good if Bajaj fixes such small issues, fine tunes and also provides dual channel ABS. I own 160 Street bs6 and it ran 6500 kms.. While riding it's power of throttle decreases and gets off (Sound resembles as if engine is not getting petrol).. I have to open the petrol tank cover for sometime, it works fr sometime and again same issue repeats.. Anybody here with the same issue or know anything about it please help as Bajaj service centre people are unable to figure the actual problem..
