As Israel, under the leadership of Netanyahu, continues to mount offensives in the Middle East, the Sanaa Airport in Yemen was severely damaged on Dec 26. The air traffic control tower, though still standing, was severely damaged and shattered glass could be seen covering the road and pavement outside the airport. Israel struck multiple targets linked to the Iran-aligned Houthi movement in Yemen on Dec 26, including Sanaa Airport. Notably, the Houthi media said at least six people were killed and 20 people were injured in the massive strike form the Israeli forces. The World Health Organization chief, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said he was about to board a plane at the airport when the airport was hit. Yemen's Minister in a press conference informed that flights had resumed at Sanaa international airport December 27, a day after Israeli strikes targeted it. Addressing the media, Yemen minister expressed dismay stating the attacks were in violation of International laws of the ICAO organization. However, Yemen’s Houthis vowed to retaliate against Israel, firing drones and missiles towards Israel describing it an act of solidarity for Palestinians in Gaza.
