To your point JD look what happened to Matt Morgan when he was left the WWE and joined TNA in 2007. He was introduced as Jim Cornette's bodyguard and eventually become an in-ring competitor. He had a solid in TNA from 07-13. Maybe Von Wagner can go to TNA and crave out a better name for himself in the business.

I'm gonna say something I rarely say. I'm all for wrestlers needing to start in NXT and grind to the main roster. But there are some exceptions, AJ Styles, was one of them. I think Jacob Fatu is the other exception. Jacob Fatu doesn't need NXT cause he's already a phenomenal wrestler and for someone his size the man can wrestle as a powerhouse and a cruiserweight

AEW needs to work on the story aspect of the show. They have had some decent ones like hangman's chase for the title, MJF, swerves rise. They just need to get that level raised. WWE was the same tell they came up with the bloodline story. That story alone carried the company for 3 years and is still going. When it's over they will also need new stories to drive interest.

Von Wagner seemed like a likeable guy! But his only schtick is putting people through an announce table. I'm sorry, but you can't be a one-trick pony in this business. Even The Acclaimed are more than just a tag team that raps and scissors. Cameron Grimes' creative outlet had an expiration date. I loved him, but it's true! His creative capabilities hit a wall. The whole TO THE MOON thing was getting stale. Indus Sher gave me zero to be excited about. Xia Li couldn't get over no matter how many photos she posts of her in a bikini on social media with the hashtag, #Spicy. Jinder Mahal's old and played out! I am not hindering Jinder, I am being brutally honest. Xyon Quinn will get an AEW job because of his wife, Harley Cameron.
