the fact he was game to just listen and run and film , says he eager too learn from older wiser professionals , great too see you empower the younger generation , society seems too have fail to mentor so many these days , and allowing him too choose which to drive shows you trust his skill level while giving him the chance too learn at his comfort level , when my son was younger i often mentored many of his friends, too the point their dad's called me SUPER DAD , it was meant as a derogatory remark by their dad's , yet the boys all called me that too after a while and i found horror and pride in being called that , so Matt you too are a SUPER DAD , take pride in that .

@everettstormy5 ай бұрын
Yeah well, it doesn't really matter he's no where near the limit. I broke a shackel once with a bulldozer and the pin shot about 150ft up in the air. Undoubtedly dangerous but I'd rather just stay far far from that limit now
@jeffmcdonald1015 ай бұрын
Yeah we all know. Point is it doesn't matter if you're using a fraction of their rated capacity. Same goes for rock climbing carabiners and all rigging really. Climbers always back them off, everyone, it's not an option despite it increasing their strength. Honestly if I were in towing I'd just use overrated shackles and not torture myself. Casey likes being right more than practical(and he's working with much heavier stuff).
@the_desert_dweller5 ай бұрын

@jeffmcdonald1015 ай бұрын
@@the_desert_dweller There is nothing unsafe about this use of a shackle. If you're nowhere near it's rating it's fine. Zero chance of breaking in THIS use case. Matt knows he couldn't break it if he tried so is rightly not fearful of it.
