Check the mufflers. My LSA caprice collapsed the stock mufflers internally and the back pressure caused these same problems

I think you’re right, the exhaust is restricted causing no flow and because the blower is mechanically driven and not by the exhaust like a turbo, it’s creating more boost pressure at low rpm due to the lack of exhaust flow. I bet the engine would sound different even at idle if they took the belt off the supercharger.

I’m 90% sure that’s their problem. My car idled just like that and maxed out the map sensor constantly …. Car felt and sounded “congested “ and as soon as I disconnected the axel back it fixed all my issues… the mufflers looked “swollen”

my Mustang had a problem like this, the cats melted had no place for the boost to go. Ford has installed 2 sets of cats on it in 21,000 miles because it's still under warranty! I do run it very hard all the time lol

First thing that came to my mind, was maybe something wrong with the blower.. At least the SS is at the right shop to figure whatever the issues are out, and fix em right. Finally.. Lol

Could be a few things restricted exshout maybe spun a rod bearing not getting enough fuel or ecm is f.cked like bad voltage.

I almost brought this car!! This dealership has a lot of modified cars. Built by a lot of well known shops. And they have a lot like this by unknown shops that don’t have a clue. They have a lot of well built ZL1 s. It’s just so far up Pa.

Being that boost is a measurement of restriction past the blower , I'd say something like mufflers or maybe bad cats is causing the spike in boost but also the drastic drop on hp, how about the bi-modal exhaust? Don't remember if the ss had that setup too or not.

Exhaust is plugged, boost is a measurement of restriction. There's no way an lsa is making 21 lbs of boost at 4k rpm

It's the same as putting in a keyway and key in. Difference is you drill it and use a round pin. If done right it keeps the balancer from being able to rotate on the crank
