It's pretty obvious that this movie was neither made not marketed as a straight up cut to cut Biopic of the 26/11 Attacks The movie was marketed as infotainment kinda movie that emphasizes more on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.. The movie was made with an unfortunate but important pov that this movie should be liked by all the masses and appeal to a layman as well. Hence, the complexity was reduced and the real scenario and instances were completely or partially altered just for provison of entertainment... That gives the conclusion that we should watch a movie how it's made and marketed not how we expect it to be without caring about what it actually is... Major is a near perfect bio-drama which in itself is pretty justified...

I loved major compared to many recent "Patriotic" movies. This movie is not over patriotic(jingoistic). Neither it is too liberal ( love the scene when he said POK kuda munade kada). They focused on life of Soldier and people around them. There are few average scenes, but still this point has hit bulls eye.

Well, at the end of the day. It's a movie, so it's okay to review it. However, as it was a biography on someone who sacrificed his life for people can be elevated for his heroics. As we don't know what happened in the situation. It's okay to have a bit of imagination and the lady was originally a man who didn't want to unveil his identity. so, it has been shown as a woman and something which can be right at that moment. I loved the movie, the emotional connect was there all along except for some instances where I kind of felt like there was more drama than it should've been and things happen real quick, the timeline is a little bit confusing for me. That's just my opinion. I agree with you on the part of looking movie as a movie itself. Keep up Barbell! The problem with Indian cinema is they showcase the Real Heroes as super heroes, which might look good in the terms of commercialization but once after math (after few days or months) when we watch it, we some how either dislike it or mock it, and laugh at it at some point and that makes the difference.. As we would be tagged with some opposite frames.. And showcasing real heroes as real heroes would be a greater tribute instead of making them supernatural or cinematic heroes..

Adivi sesh cinema picha interview chudandi. Oka 15 mins in taj hotel people only know major sandeep going up. There were no cc TV confirming what happened there. Only people heard shouting, crying and gun fires. Aa.. 15 mins they took shots with their creativity and cinematic freedom. it's a perfect logical biopic. They did their hardwork and i felt the output.
