What is your point? Keep the speed limit at 130? No matter what speed limit is, the problem is with people and how they drive . For a road with 100kmph , u can reach mysore in one hour and 30 mins average. People have no responsibility for themselves and others. Nobody can help Indian drivers. By going at 130, you may reach 10 minutes early, no point. And on the left side, cars from service road join highway without warning. Until people realise not to change lanes and understand basic mathematics, it is no sense making such videos.

See the point is not just about math!!! But its about mentality of people with big ass cars too! They become impatient and as u saw in the video it was non sense😤 its not about reaching somewhere 10mins or 20mins early, its about the journey too, making it boring can lead to fatality if people r not being conscious on the road

There was no speed limit on that road, there were few drivers / riders driving recklessly leading to a lot of accidents so they came up with new rules. Plus not all the vehicles are capable of doing triple digit speed safely.

Bro , after installing the upzise tyre did you do the speedometer sensor recalibration? Else it will showing you the wrong reading.. in cars the default sensor is based on stock rim size and based on its rotation it gives speed.. when we upzise the tyre , the reading goes on a toss.. it might show 100 but you will be at 110... Just informing this to avoid fines..

The majority of highways in India are designed for 80 - 100 kmph. The problem is road discipline and driving attitude. Thus, we are not able to maintain a constant speed of even 90kmph which is safe and comfortable.

When you start going above 100 fuel efficiency drops Braking distance increases for avg cars, which i am sure alot of them with terrible tyres. Old highway all frustrated drivers had to wait at traffic signals and then at this traffic signal get cut off by honking taxis who can barely touch 80 and hold every decent vehicle behind them.

I just saw ur video now. I got where you coming from with speed limits. I have drove in this mysore highway 15-20 times till now. From bumper to bumper traffic in the highway to full kalli highway 😅. But 100kmph speed limits makes complete sense because of density of vehicles on this highway and drivers driving on this highway. Lot of curves on this highway which is actually not pratical for expressway, Too many entry/exit points. Considering all these points it makes real sense. I have seen people crossing on this highway with barricades or grills work opened up illegally by them. BLR mysore highway will never be expressway , its access controlled highway. Toll charges are charged taken as expressway, two wheelers are not allowed because it was considered as expressway when it opened for political reasons.

There's a reason for putting the breaks 😊and putting imposing those restrictions, because of over speeding lots of accidents happend in the past ever since it opened , the number was highest ever compared to anywhere , hence govt imposed these regulations, I have myself been a victim to it , a few months back I was at 120kmph and I was fined 1000 no mercy shown , we just have to slow down else bw ready to cough up a fine of 1000 .

I have driven on both. Will have to say that this expressway is nothing close to Samruddhi Mahamarg. This New mysore express way is similar to Pune Mumbai expressway and deserves a limit of no more than 80 kmph for the volume of traffic and type of drivers. Those bigger cars are nothing more than Mangana kayyali Manikya.

Bro, lane speed in India is not observed. People will either drive slow on the fast lane, thus forcing fast vehicles to overtake on the left, or the other way around. The major problem is not speed. It’s a straight road. Even at 80 there can accidents as long as driving manners are terrible. Sudden braking, sudden overtaking, sudden merging from service road, zero lane respect.

Speed Limit should be 120 kmph atleast I believe on this road, even I drove a new car on this road..and really it's very difficult to maintain at 100, since sometimes the road is full empty and we want to take it to 140-150 although we need to be over focused on that speed but because of the limit, it feels like we're driving at 60 kmph, and its too boring
