@10:04 that wall does in fact break. It has a HP bar below it if you start hitting it. (edit I have also seen people push that ballista with a catapult to a different vantage point)

This was a really fun build, you debuted it back in the earlier days of Mordhau and I still have a lot of fun with it. Hopefully some of the new players will too! Also, the video where you were showing your builds and you couldn’t figure out why you had a guy with two crossbows, it was from a “meta build” I think you called it but it was so you could shoot someone close range and then they would expect you to reload but you could just quickly switch to the already loaded 2nd crossbow and kill them.

@@NihilistMonk when you're chasing someone that's running away from you, you gain a boost in speed, so it doesn't really matter if the person has light armor and you have heavy armor, you'll probably catch up with him anyway. If you're both facing each other maybe the player with lighter gear would be able to walk back away from the swing more often but I wouldn't bet on that to save my life. If you're dueling someone with a decent footwork that distance you get is not a problem for them.

I think you’re stuck of thinking of speed in terms of catching people. Think of it more in terms of escaping people. You have to be pretty close to trigger the speed boost, so if you’re already sprinting away and they still have to build up the speed, you’ll almost always get away.

@@strong5819 да, Тома действительно приятно смотреть) Он заметно выделяется на фоне очень токсичного сообщества (откуда эти грубияны только берутся? Из Доты, наверное?). А его голос словно песня для ушей) По поводу билда: хочу взять 2/3/2 броню, жажду крови (bloodlust), разъяренный (fury) и прорыв (rush), из оружия - мессер. По замыслу этот билд должен придавать максимальную смертоносность игроку даже в пылу сражения при первом же убийстве (как ты можешь заметить, все перки активируются после убийства врага). Хотел бы взять 3-ю голову, но очков не хватает :с . Мессер был выбран как достаточно длинное и быстрое оружие, способное с двух ударов в тело убивать игроков во 2-ой броне. В качестве альтернативы можно взять mace (не помню, как по-русски называется) или фальшон, но я хочу себе что-то подлиннее для фронтлайна и инвэйжена

@@strong5819 вот так и думал, что ты про фалькс скажешь. Видишь ли, фалькс использовался только в античности. Я не до конца понимаю, почему его вообще добавили. И рыцарь в доспехах высокого или позднего средневековья с фальксом в руках зрелище, признаться, вырвиглазное. Это хорошее оружие, но не аутентичное, поэтому я стараюсь его не включать в билды. За 18 очков уж лучше взять полэкс. Это лично мое мнение

@@strong5819 лично я плохо представляю античного дикаря, штурмующего позднеевропейскую крепость. Но это опять же личные предпочтения. А у Тома билды хоть и красиво кастомизированы, но зачастую они не аутентичны. Я же стараюсь создавать исторически точных персонажей под стать играемой карте
