You could totally do a part 2 and expand on flip ups or spread voicings may be a good one. I really like the sound of those spread triads!

Not sure if I'm mistaken but I think I saw you play live in a little NYC club called sweet basil in the early 2000s (2003-2004?) , playing some gypsy jazz on a Djanjo-style guitar. If that was you, my hat's off to you, you were great then as well.

There are only 12 closely voiced major, minor, diminished, and augmented triads on the guitar. The best way to memorize them it is to memorize the three shapes on each set of three strings in related keys. Because the most common change is the I to the IV, practice each set of three string shapes in F and B flat, for instance. This will help your memorization and help you see the relationship between these shapes. Leave spread triads aside until you've memorized the closely-voiced triads. These simple chord tone voicings are remarkably useful. Add this work to your practice regime for maybe 10 minutes during each practice session, and you will not regret it.
