the closest I can think of a year that is similar to this one is the 2006 typhoon season, where Philippines (no surprise here) was struck back to back with super typhoons

This storm is scaring me. JTWC and JMA have this storm having a bit of a diagonal path (and a bit far from my location). However, I've asked questions to weather accounts and some have this storm potentially intensifying to a CAT5 which could mean that a more southward path is likely given that rapid intensification is said to cause a more southward shift in typhoon tracks. This would mean that this storm might strike my location with highly damaging winds. For now, I'll just see what happens. However, I will say that I have an extremely bad feeling about this beast.

​​@@MathewPrixyMendoza i like class suspensions and all, but in my highschool when it rained just lightly during a lesson period, some grade 10 students probably liked those days off a bit too much and would sometimes go as far as to chant "SUSPENDED" outside our classroom, some of my classmates would follow along too, and some other students who could hear them all chanting Those times the rain didnt even go heavy on the following days idk if this is common in other high schools, or just some kind of running joke in our school they made up for themselves
