So a shadow priest with all 13s that has never been invited into a 14 will still be yo-yo-ing his own key next season…depletion changes help nothing.

@@Konrad-z9w honestly the biggest problem of keys for a player like me or this sp is we cant do key cuz 1 player fuck up our key ans were locked for whole key . but if our keys never falls off we can play the game freely so not being meta wont feel as bad

Keys not depleting after you're 2850 only helps people who are pushing rating. I feel like it's more useful early in the season in lower keys when ppl need to get reps in to learn the dungeons without being punished for not meeting the timer. This 2850 thing makes no sense to me.

yeah so, heres the thing...if you arent punished for doing something wrong, you probably wont care enough to learn how to do it right. however, it will be very handy in high keys because oftentimes a high key can be bricked in the first 30 seconds of a dungeon. or if someone dcs, misses a kick, doesnt use a defensive, or just outright messes up because they are experiencing higher content then they are used to. but if youre into giving bad players a chance to just faceroll all the time anytime without repercussion or a reason to learn/do it right, then you might as well just give everyone the participation trophy and call it Mythic DEI+

Also, doesn't take all 12s to get to that rating? At that point, wouldn't you want your keys to never drop below 13?

@@8bit_outcast708 it was hard to do +11s in the beginning because gear progression is a lot worse in M+ compared to DF. But after you are near end game gear like 630+, +11 keys becomes fairly easy. However, +12 and up is where the struggle is. With this said, it doesnt absolve blizzard of the long ass queue we have to go through to get invited into a dungeon.

This only help boosters to boost 1 or 2 people at the same time without looking at the timer I think

I don't understand why they would do it this way, the rating requirement for the depletion thing. Removing depletion helps lower skill players foremost, not those who got high rating.

Not necessarily. It's still so dependent on groups. It takes nothing for a skilled player to pick up someone who bought their io or a bad tank or just a random DC. It happens a LOT. And a dropped key at a low level is so much easier to recover from than a dropped key at a higher level. Especially for those of us who pug often

When i was pushing title as a ww in DF (heavy off meta) only solo queue, I waited upwards of 3 hours…

think they should take the opposite approach: for keys at level 11 and below, players are still learning the dungeons, so it’s acceptable if the key level drops. However, for level 12 and above, keys should not deplete because the high damage scaling makes it increasingly likely that a tank or DPS might get one-shot by bad RNG. Thank for the video IZEN :)

I have bricked more 8s than 10s this season because in many groups people have full heroic +8 delves gear, they even tried a +2, is a clown show.

No deplete for sub 12 is an absolute joke.. People who don't go beyond 12 aren't even playing the game.. What does it matter with deplete in lvl 2-11 when its so easy you can boost with your eyes closed? the no deplete thing should be for 12 and up so people who actually play the game for the fun of it, and not just gear purposes they should have the help.. Its 12 and up queueing really becomes horrible.. All this does is help boosters keep their keeys at 12 when they fail.. Can't believe blizz keeps making changes for the nubs, and not the people who are actually playing their game.. Stop making everyhing for nubs.. its fine they make it more appealing to nubs with little time, but why not try make something for those whose actually playing the game to the fullest and easily the most interesting to play/watch? Theres a reason streamers mostly are good players. because thats what we want to see! Not some nub dad who logs in once a week.. I only see L's in this patch..

Just get rid of the timers, rhey add nothing positive to the experience AT ALL. Mythis plus already naturely has walls built in through its increasing difficulty, we dont need a timer. Lol Ive done plenty of keys that we just couldnt finish because we hit the wall of what our gear and skill could accomplish, why isnt that enough? Why do we need these timers ontop of that? As a casual player i just dont understand why people wsnt the timers to stay, it makes no logical sense.

OR keep the timer for upgrading a key to a +2 and +3. If you fail the timer you should be able to finish the key still BUT it'll only increase by +1. That seems like a fair compromise

removing the timer only helps bad people. the fun part of m+ is that you have to keep going, you have to manage your cooldowns, you have to make fast decisions. if you don't want to do that then don't do m+! go and raid. the timers are mostly quite lenient this season. if you want a challenge but want to take your time just play classic or m0 in bad gear. still getting a key increase from finishing but not timing a key is ridiculous, why should you be awarded for not completing something? it should just not deplete and roll to another dungeon.

Can you imagine the shitshow if they removed the timer and people couldn’t distinguish between groups that would do the dungeon at a reasonable time (equivalent of timing a key now) and those that would sit there and wait for lust for every pack to finish a key over their skill level? Yeah, that’s a ‘no’ from me dog.

Removing the timer wouldn’t work. It would inflate io so much. You could theoretically wait for list/cooldowns for every pack and boss. There has to be something to push you through the dungeon. Depletion just shouldn’t be a thing over the above average key level. Average and below it should exist to show learning players they aren’t doing what is required and need to do lower difficulty levels
